Mm......yeah, I'll excuse it. Honestly, that rule is pretty much only there because it's technically in the forum rules, too. But that rule has been ignored for such a ridiculously long time. I'm like the only one that cares about the rule still :'c

BUT WHATEVS. It's a valid entry imo so it shall stay, just remember to try to find nice-looking official art if you can.

Very subtle v2. I was more careful this time to not go off the edge of the canvas.

I dunno, other than going over the edge I think my v1 may have turned out better overall. The v2 seems to have less of the "worn" look I was going for.

V2 is subtle. I think what V1 has going for it is a little more focus: because you didn't concentrate that "worn" effect around the girl and dude's faces, my attention was immediately brought to them and stayed there. On V2, I'm guessing you lowered the opacity on the effect, so now it's not as noticeable and my eye wanders just a little bit more.

I like the darker-colored/softer-edged border on V2 though (they're easier on the eye because they don't seem as abrupt), so I guess it depends on what you want to prioritize.

also ENTRY TIME IS OVER. Sorry it too so long, I just had a really hard time with my entry. ;_; I tried to go for a whole wolfy-style smudging thing and failed miserably (it's all hidden by c4ds bless)

(but kiki is da best, I will always have a soft spot for her in my heart <3)
