Psychic's only weakness in Gen I was Bug.

What I found funny is that they put Psychic is effective towards Fighting, which is invalid because your ESP powers can't beat my punch.

I think it's weird that Bug is good against Psychic since a lot of Bug Pokemon are part Poison.

Espers being weak to the powers of tiny bugs doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the first place.

It's obviously a Muv-Luv reference. Alternative III ended up with cute psychic things getting eaten by bugs.

How I thought of it for years is that: No matter how illogical it is to be afraid of bugs, no matter how courageous you are to get bugs out of your territory, they scare the mother **** out of you and it's the most common fear on the planet. It makes you drop your will and logic and scream and run away even though you're smarter and stronger than it.

I'm sorry guys, the starters are pure types.

Yeah, this doesn't mean anything one way or the other. I would've been very surprised if they were dual-types right from the start.

And even then we forget Bulbasaur was part poison lmao

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Starter_Pok%C3%A9mon

there aren't many daul types even though deep down I wish Serperior would've tried to be cool and been grass/electric or something.
