yeah Zace, say what games you're spoiling, silly
The random NPC Sliv posted about living or dying based upon your answer was always poignant, I thought. And I don't remember much about the scene, but I remember that killing those soldiers down in the submarines in Final Fantasy VII made me feel pretty horrifically guilty, to the point where I reset the game so that I could play through the scene again without killing them. |

Yeah, this one bugs me for being completely pointless. It's literally "while you were out this character died", and then it's never mentioned again.
In the TG-16 version they censor it as a kidnapping, which actually works a lot better if you ask me. _________________

Agree with you on Xenosaga Ep III, Zace. The first person mentioned in the spoiler was my favorite character in the whole damn series, too. ;_;
I consider that one of the most badass ways to go, though. _________________

FFX when Tidus died/evaporated in the ending. And then they ruined it with FFX-2.
I'm glad Heavenly Sword didn't get a sequel. The ending was great. _________________

I agree. It would have cheapened the ending if they had gone ahead with a sequel as planned. _________________

There's plenty of others (Pretty much most of the first generation) who die at the Battle of Barhara, but, Sigurd's death is a (game-defying) shocker. What happens to Titlyu is depressing... Worst of it is Cuan and Ethlin though- they die by game rules, not in cutscene- Cuan and Ethlin come in to reinforce you... and then Trabant and his goons appear behind them... with Horsekillers. And you're forced to watch the Thracians murder two of your units, and there's nothing you can do to stop them. |

Agreed.
At least he decided to commit suicide by main character party.
I thought it was one of the worst deaths in videogame history. No impact at all.
Compare that to a certain girl in FFVII... _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

[I'd disagree on it being bad, it was meaningless and depressing. Suicide accomplishes nothing.... and it's better than Aeris's death by miles.] _________________

Well, that person's death in Symphonia had almost no impact on me because of the scene leading up to it and the scene afterwards. It just seemed stupid.
The person dying in FVII was like a knife through the heart to me.
But that might just be me. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

Also, that character's death in Symphonia doesn't bother me because I never go down that path. _________________
