But Dark Souls does not hate jolly co-operation!
Anor Londo hates your ******* guts though.
Black Knight Sword - I'm not gonna lie I picked this up on a completely random whim, and I am enjoying it quite a lot.
Dark Souls - dat Anor Londo :) _________________

It's funny because I think Anor Londo might actually be one of the easiest areas for me, and this was before I had the game memorized. _________________

Sen's Fortress took me ages. For some reason I just found the lizard men really difficult to deal with. And that optional room with the two Prowling Demons... urgh. Anor Londo wasn't too bad at all, beyond a few horrific fights and that terrible fake-difficulty bit with the two archers firing gigantic trees at you.

"It's... it's not you, it's me", sniffed Zopheir, cradling his commercial entertainment product in Cheeto-stained hands. "I respect you as a product, I just... don't think we're right for each other."
The attempt to break up amicably and stay friends went badly, as the inanimate object proved unmoved by his honeyed words. |

Dark Souls - fooled around a bit, running to different areas and two-hand slaughtering every enemy that stepped in my path. I'm having trouble against Sif. I have no idea why I can't beat him. I'm thinking maybe I'm being a little too impatient with the battle.
Edit: I must have been tired yesterday since I beat Sif on the next attempt. I also ran through that painting world, opting not to fight Priscilla, and now onto Londo Ruins.... friggen hate this place.
ZombiU - found the medicine at the Nursery, so that I can take it back to some weirdo with a shotgun. I believe I'm trading it for fuel. There were a couple of freaky jump moments that got me at that place. The nursery might have been the scariest atmosphere of the game thus far. |

New Londo is a lot easier than it seems at first because the ghosts are only dangerous in a large group. Problem is that if you move too fast they gather up behind you. _________________

Yeah, I noticed that before it was too late. ha.
Side note, I received my Neo-Geo X today. Everything looks slick and feels authentic, especially the Arcade stick. I only tested out the handheld, and I have to say it boots up the games fast and plays them flawlessly. I also appreciate the ability to choose widescreen or 4:3. The handheld is incredibly comfortable to hold and it's as big as a PSP, possibly a little bigger. I've also tested the Arcade stick and it is compatible with the PC and PS3, so that was a nice little surprise.
I'll get back to the actual system playing on the TV later on tonight, if anyone is interested. If someone beats me to it that's fine, too.
Edit: okay, so I tested playing on the TV and the only problem encountered was that the HDMI cable does not even try and upscale, it literally stays at 480p. So, the the native screen from the handheld stretches to fit the TV in widescreen. The only difference I could really tell was that the picture appeared washed out (and obviously stretched), but my friend thought it looked absolutely disgusting so I guess it's up for debate? That said, it also played very nicely and for the most part looked a lot better while playing in 4:3 mode on the TV.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. It'll be a lot better once they start releasing new games and if not, hopefully somewhere down the road someone decides to hack the system.
Edit:
Dark Souls - GAH! I'm stuck, once again, at the Four Kings. This boss is the same reason I quit the first time. I thought after building and buffing my character pretty well I would have been able to overcome this fight, but still to no avail. Does anyone know of any tips that I can use to win? I've tried the following: havel's armour + iron flesh + 2H attacking (queelag fury); armour of favor + ring that decreases physical attacks + pyromancy; all of the above + Beatrice. So frustrated with this game right now.

Black Knight Sword - oh my god guys this game is absurdly outstanding help I love it too much
Sine Mora - I got this suggested to me since Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture were also responsible for this game (heck there's a poster in one of the stages featuring the splash art of Black Knight Sword), and I'm quite liking it so far. Need to unlock more characters so I can dig into their backstories a little more, because it's clear to me this game has a nice amount of depth to it. _________________

After a one and a half week plow through of the Uncharted series I beat the third one tonight.
Had already beat the first two but I just wanted to replay them to get caught up on the story.
Great series. Now Golden Abyss, if I ever get a Vita. _________________

| ZombiU - just revisiting old areas trying to scan all the CCTV boxes (for Uplay bonuses) and finding dead players roaming around so I can kill their reanimated corpse and loot whatever items they possess. |

I finished Skyward Sword a while ago. It wasn't my favorite Zelda, but it was alright.
I've been watching my sister play Twilight Princess though, does that count _________________
