I have a 2000 model psp the one with the darth vader back cover. My psp cuts off on me sometimes, so that leaves me wondering is it time to get a new battery?

Yeah, that sounds like a weak battery to me. Rechargeable batteries can only be recharged so much, unfortunately. You can play it without a battery by plugging in the charger, though.

Happens to my fiance's PSP as well. It hasn't been used much, though. So an old battery doesn't sound like it's the problem in our case Sad

Does it happen while you keep it plugged in? Or will it only happen on rare occasions?
