Star Driver, and Wolfs Rain didn't end up so bad on their part...well 2 good ones out of a list that includes severely ugly ones like including Darker than Black 2, and Soul Eaters ending don't say much, but still. _________________

So, um, I finished the final episode with subs.
The scub was harmful to humanity after all.
They ended up destroying it.
....so technically, in some twisted way, Dewey was right all along and the actions of Gekkostate in Eureka Seven protecting the Scub ended up being for nothing, and in fact harmful to humanity.
...
...
what. _________________

I'll just say it again.
Ao should never have existed. _________________

Remember those fake spoilers when the Eureka 7 movie first came out that had that whole subplot about Anemone already being dead when the movie starts and only appears in flashbacks and Dominic pilots her mecha in her memory or whatever?
I wish they had just made that movie. _________________ SOON.

I didn't like the Nirvash Neo. It just looks like a really generic and blocky mech imo, really didn't fit how the Nirvash evolved in E7. They didn't even make it better when they threw Truth in it.
Skipping over 24 again, I wonder what the outcome would have been if Ao didn't fire the Quartz gun the first two times. If Renton would have entered either way, and his goal was still to use the gun to eliminate the Scub, that gets rid of every reason there was to fire it previously. Plus, the main reason Ao got in Renton's way was because it didn't have enough charge to fire it more than once, but obviously that would be avoided if Ao hadn't already fired it a few times.
regardless more tables must be flipped, i mad _________________

I will probably be as indifferent to the end of AO as I have been the rest of the series.
As much as I want to like the original Eureka Seven, I didn't enjoy it. I won't go into detail about why (unless someone asks), but I can see that it was much better executed in terms of characters, plot, and world than AO. In terms of enjoyment, I was entertained by both about the same.
AO focused way too much on politics that I forgot about the moment each episode was over.
BONES should quit doing sequels or at least maintain the same staff as the originals. I thought that might have learned their lesson from Darker Than Black 2. |

The first Eureka Seven is a masterpiece if you love the characters. If not, it's a slow ride. But fortunately I fall into the former and it's my favorite anime. The pacing may be slow but the characters are so dynamic and change a little bit over each episode. The show also has a pretty intelligent plot and multiple emotional climaxes that most shows are lucky to get even one of. _________________

in addition to dewey technically being somewhat correct, i also just realized that Ray ended up actually getting revenge on Eureka in the end with what happened to Eureka's daughter and later Ao.
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH this really bothers me
though in retrospect, Eureka Seven TV is the only version of the story that ends happily. BAD END in every other version of the story. _________________
