I think it was in third grade. A friend told me about it. When I bought it got stuck at Destiny Island for a year then got stuck at Wonderland... I didn't know much English back then xD

Oh gosh, when? I think I was in 7th grade at the time.

I remember I actually thought the concept was DERP DERP STOOPID! So I actually bought it simply because I wanted to see the trainwreck that could follow...that, and I wanted to hear Lance Bass voice Sephiroth (lolwut??)

What ended up happening was completely unexpected: after my first playthrough, I immediately started playing again. I thought to myself, "What am I doing?" That's when I knew, I was in love.

I think I was in grade 4... may have been before that.

My friend Jess had KH2, and I was running around Twilight Town doing the jobs... But I wouldn't go farther than that 'cas I was scared of the dusks! XD

Years later, I bought it, and pwned it. (almost (: )

I think I'll mention the rest of my KH "history" as well.. xD

I got Chain of memories about two or three years after I got Kingdom Hearts, in KH I was stuck on the boss in the last world that was in that volcano. I beat CoM in a couple of months and i finally managed to beat KH after that.

I got Kingdom Hearts 2 the day it was released, I had spoiled a lot of the story however since it got delayed in Europe.

I later imported Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ about a year after it's released, it was my first Japanese import and I still play it from time to time, it's just that awesome.

I got the Japanese version of 358/2 on release as well, though due to my limited kanji knowledge I did not understand that much. I bought the European version about a month after release.

I bought the Japanese version of Birth by Sleep about a week after release and loved it, I did buy the European Version once I saw it but I still prefer the Japanese version, since I like Terra, Aqua and Xeahnort more in the Japanese version.

I haven't bought Re:Coded yet, but hope to soon.

You too??? Very Happy

After hearing all the cool additional content in KH2, I HAD to get it. KH2 was really the first game I shamelessly fanboy-ed over. A year later I made myself two keyblades and dressed as Roxas for Halloween...... XD

Still can't beat Terra though without a little lucky. It doesn't help that my Japanese translation isn't the greatest. lol

Same here, though I've already had the secret ending spoiled for me, which heavily hints KH3's plot (DOH!!!). Dream Drop Distance has got me intrigued too.

That's awesome! xD That would be like the best halloween for me if someone would trick or treat at my house as Roxas <3 heheh

I was about 12 the first time I heard about KH; I was visiting my relatives in California and my cousin showed me the game. I was interested, but I didn't have a PS2, so I totally forgot about it xD It wasn't until I moved back to America that I gained a friend 2005 who was a big KH fan and showed me the game and I thought it was so amazing. I got a PS2 for my birthday and she got me the game for Christmas. I beat the game, got CoM and desperately tried to beat it over Spring break before KH2 came out XD

That summer, I played all three games in chronological order while my sister watched me. She was...6? Wow. She was six and I got her totally hooked on the series too XD Her first game was 358/2 Days when it came out.

I played the Japanese ver. of Days around the time it came out, cuz I had a "friend" who was a major gamer who let me borrow it... So that was the first Japanese game I've ever played. Since I don't know much Japanese, I guess it helped that the game was mission based and easy to figure out :3

Thanks all XD. Now I'm gonna share my story.....

Back then in 2006, I was addicted to FF3 DS. I finished it, and bored. So, my sis (who's playing KH2 at that time) accompanied me to the nearest game store. She bought me KH CoM and Tales of Phantasia GBA. Of course I picked CoM first, because my sis wanted to play Phantasia.

One year later, she wanted me to try KH2. And I was addicted. I beat it in a week. Then, I tried KH1. And it wasn't went well.

Half year ago, my sis gave me Japanese version of BBS and Days Undub. Completed Aqua's story on Normal, though. Played Days for a bit, and I found my love for Saix and Xion.

Recently, I finished NA version of BBS on Proud (Critical for Terra). And I'm halfway on Days now (stupid Xiggy with your 'kill 30 enemies with Limit Break' mission).

Oh and Saix x Xion is totally my favorite Foe Yay pairing now. Demyx x Larxene is the Ultimate S&M, IMO. And Roxas x Xion is Childhood Sweetlove <3.

Yeah, trying to play KH1 after KH2 is really really hard. Or, not hard, but you know what I mean. It's like playing Symphonia after Vesperia.

ARGH. Such horrible missions XD

There's a paradox here, but I don't care because I think they're cute together :3

But yeah, once I saw some of the new stuff in it I just had to get it.

I spoiled Coded's plot before Re:Coded was announced and watched the secret ending of Re: Coded once I had the chance xD So I'll buy Re:Coded most for the gameplay.

I don't have any plans to buy BBS Final Mix but I might pick it up if I end up going to Japan one day, and I am aiming for that.

Still not sure if I'll get a Japanese or European 3DS though...

Btw, I have a theory on why Roxas trusted Xemnas so much before he leaves the Org.

Somewhat BBS Spoilers wrote:
Roxas got Ven's Heart, correct?
Now look at Ven's obsession towards Terra. He's not just obsessed on him, he TRUSTED him.
Subconsciously, Ven's Heart within Roxas recognized Xemnas as Terra.
So, Roxas trusted Xemnas because he subsconsciously remembers that he's supposed to trust him.

And here's my take on Luxord's politeness and Larxene's niceness(?) towards Roxas, based on my fic :
What if Ven originally came from Twilight Town, and was the original owner of the mansion? He probably helped Rudol and Relena to stayed on his mansion, since they're street orphans. Ven, who's a lonely rich kid, got attached to them and asked his parents to adopted them. But before he could ask, his parents passed away because of diseases. Master Xehanort, who's just passed by, took Ven as his apprentice. But before he goes, Ven asked Rudol to keep the mansion well.
Yep, they owe Ven for saved their life and probably remembered it. And this explains Roxas' attachment for Twilight Town.

O.O
That is genius. I never thought of it that way, but it totally makes sense. o.o

That's a cool idea, it especially makes a lot of sense sense that Ven would come from Twilight Town.

Definitely hope that BBS2 will brush up on those little things, like who owned the mansion. That was never explained right?
