@Seraph: Pretty damn cool man. I like the softness of the effects. Has so much potential for really good atmosphere, but I feel like there could be something to really finish it off.
@Hearts: I like that one a lot actually. I'm a sucker for small tags. Maybe the render could be blended a bit more?

Already showed you this, but here's a new version with your suggestion taken into account.
Made this from a tut Kyle sent me. I tried to stray away from it a bit.
2nd version, smudged the hair a bit.

Just something I made a couple of weeks ago. I tried to experiment with zoom layers and text, but I have a feeling it didn't go so well... Also, I just realized how bland the BG is. Any tips on how to make it look better?
I tried to add some textures. BTW, thanks for the advice Kyle!

Ace, I'd suggest like a texture for the bg, or something like that. Maybe some paint peeling type one? Set to overlay or whatever.

fuzzy render is fuzzy. That pink is bugging me though, especially since I have no idea how I got it to be pink.
Though, it's better than this version imo:

Alsworth: Those are p good. Like Kyle said, good lighting on the first.
Yosuke: Yeah, you're right; the first is better the second. Cool background yet again. Blend that render!

Alsworth: I like the last two, but I think it's a little TOO obvious how you just moved the stock to the left/right, without using too many effects. Love the lighting though, as people have said.
Prochainezo: Yeah, you should definitely think about throwing in some textures or adding some contrast to the sig.
Nuit: I dunno, I like that last one. Except... I'm not too fond of the light source being almost directly in the middle. Plus, it's a bit hard to tell which part of it is the stock image and which are the effects, which isn't necessarily a criticism.
Anyway, so I made another sig (for Toku), and I was curious to see what everyone else (or at least, the people who check this subforum) think of it, so I can improve it or whatnot.
I decided to be a bit more... reserved(?) with how much extra crap (brushes and things) I threw on, and tried to make it a little more simple.
Anyhow, comments are appreciated.

Contrast, huh? I'll try to look for some guides later. Thanks for the C&C BTW!
I tried to go for a simpler approach, which in this case was using only the render, BG and some textures. I'm not completely happy with how it turned out, but meh, it's good enough for me.
