So I had this awesome Persona 3 picture that just begged to be made into a wallpaper. The problem was, the top of Mitsuru's head was missing and since I had no idea how to make it look good without cropping the sides, I decided I would just go and make the top of her head myself.

After three hours of fiddling with it, I came up with this. It's not perfect, but it just gets frustrating after a while and it's good enough for a wallpaper. I am satisfied and that's what counts.

Oh yeah, I made something similar some weeks ago, from this to this. Doesn't look like much but I basically had to create a good 80 pixels on Rihoko's left side. It was still a lot easier than Mitsuru's head, though.

Wow, I think it's pretty awesome that you did that. Sure, it's a little (read: a lot) OCD, but you did a great job, especially with the P3 one. If I wouldn't know better, I'd say your version was the original.

Agreed. If I hadn't of known that you had fixed this, I would've said that it was an official piece of art.

I guess the curve of the head could be a little more convex, and the curve on the right could be smoothed out some, but damn, gj.

You have my respect for undertaking such a venture.

It's really not very hard though, comparatively to the hair.

Is that the full version of the scan!? It looks a lot like what you did, minus some of the lighting at the top. The timestamp on it is from a long time ago, so I'm guessing it is indeed, not your fix-up.

If you look at my first post, you'll see I have the original at the right resolution in the first link, so yeah. The top of the head is non-existent in every scan, I had to actually make it from scratch, and since the texture is really grainy I had to mess with filters and a bunch of ****, plus extend all of the hair lines by brushing and then make the two parts meld together correctly.

Oh, I feel dumb. I was thinking that her head was completely cut off at the line where the picture stops, and you did ALL of her head.
