I don't think ANYONE could put out a terrible dub like Arc Rise Fantasia. That dub has to be the worst dub I have EVER heard.

Except that Japanese games are really expensive.
I honestly can't see how they couldn't do this. Valkyria Chronicles did it and I loved it. It might not be appealing to a wide audience, but it sure is appealing to a lot of JRPG fans that would like to have that option. Dual voice track option is better than being forced to play through an English dub you MIGHT not like/turning the voices off.

So is putting Japanese voices in the game. I'd rather take a fully voiced english track than one that is half voiced because there are also Japanese voices. |

@ FireG: Now that was awful.
As long as its the same group that translated Symphonia that are doing this I'll be happy. They didn't have awkward quotes in Symphonia, or at least I couldn't remember them.

If Sega can do FULL dual audio with Valkyria Chronicles, then Namco doing the same would be possible. Of course, since it's Namco, then they probably wouldn't take the financial risk anyway.
I never mind the Tales dubs, so I don't really care if it turns out to be single track like always, but having the option would be nice, assuming voice acting isn't halved.

I read somewhere i think it was wikipedia that the guys that dub the game actually use familiars and friends to dub it

Well lets just wait for Namco's awesome dubbing for this game. It will be awesome or else.... As for that Chaos War scene the fan dub I can get being awful given they would not have the experience professional/paid voice actors would, but the original seemed so...ugh... Using friends and familiars too......
