Yes, yes it was. It's a she in Vesperia btw (spoilers for Vesperia). I know it isn't Symphonia, but it's an obvious reference. |

The names are a bit different in Japanese though. ヴェリウス in Symphonia and ベリウス in Vesperia. So I don't know how much of a reference it is...

I think it counts a bit. Remember Sekundes? he's named like that in Eternia and its a totally different name from who he really is/is based on.
The same applies here I guess.

But Belius isn't based on Verius.
The name might be a small reference, as they do look similar, but apart from that, I don't think there's any connection.

Belius and Verius also have the same voice actress in Japanese.  Plus I see B used in place of V quite a bit in Japanese so I thought the reference was meant to be obvious...
Have I even answered this thread yet? Corrine is just too cute so...yeah. But I'll go with Shadow, just because.

My favorite summon spirit is Shadow because he doesn't waste any words. I like the incantations he uses during battle.
