potential spoilers* tips for 200 man melee

ok well i managed to clear the 200 man melee with rita this evening, was fun and i got to see lots of fireworks, by fireworks i mean meteors. but anyway that aside i could use some tips for the other characters, btw i'm playing the 360 version, all tips are greatly appreciated.

Well, Yuri is pretty easy to beat it with.

Same with Judith and Karol, though Karol might be a bit more difficult.

Equipping the Miracle Bangle (I think that's what it was called) is a MUST for everyone in my opinion.

Repede is pretty easy.

You already got Rita, which is one of the harder ones.

Raven is alright to do it with. You just have to use the right skills, or you could just do normal attacks.

Estelle is the hardest Just make sure you have First Aid handy at all times, and get all her skills that boost Guard and healing techniques. Spamming Holy Rain also does miracles~

It's been a while since I did the Colosseum, so sorry if this didn't help much.

I only played the PS3 Version, and I only did the 200 Man-Melee when I finished the Main storyline, so I don't really know what Level all my characters were when I did it.

Yuri is pretty easy, Azure Edge for the most part, and for the rest start using Arcane Artes or even OverLimit spam. Don't forget that you do have Items.

Karol is slow, but his Attack is really high, so you shouldn't have any problems beating monsters and even bosses. I mainly used low-TP consume Artes.

Judith, you can spam Moon Beam or, since she's rather fast, use New Moon Blade (I think that's the name) to get rid of them quickly. When fighting bosses, you might want to use a few levels of OverLimit, specially for Kratos, but I never had a problem.

Rita's easy, Tidal Wave or Meteor Storm + OverLimit 1 and you get rid of 200 in an instant.

Estelle...Spam Holy Rain. Holy Lance is good for slow enemies, but if you use it against Barbatos you're just doomed since it'll easily miss the target. Make sure you have First Aid as HotFire said, because you'll need it a few times.

Raven is actually easy since he's ranged, so you don't have to move that much. I used 'Rain' for the most part since it deals decent damage, and the TP Cost is not that high. If you need HP, 'Love Shot' is the solution, since it's fast and all of the arrows will aim to Raven, which will regain quite an amount of HP.

So, sorry if I couldn't be of more help. I haven't played Vesperia recently, so I might have forgotten a few things.

If you want to be cheap, equip a Spirit Ring and spam Gale Dog with Repede. Be sure to use an item with Barbatos if you do this.

There's also Estelle's Eternal Support skill + Overlimit + Force Field spam = permanent invincibility, but I never was able to pull it off.

Aside from that, SummonerPascal and HotFire covered everything I could say.

I think the permanent invincibility with Force Field isn't on the PS3 Version, at least I couldn't do it.

well i'm level 200 playing on unknown difficulty thanks for the tips guys, i wasn't quite able to beat the 100 man melee with karol on unknown, rita was a cinch really since heavy magic and overlimit = big death to the enemy just avoiding getting hit to often was the challenge, though i swear i dunno how i got so lucky but through one try i was resurrected no less than 9 times through her skills, personally i was like ok now i'm dead and she would pop up every time, i still lost though lol. though i eventually got it. ok well i'll evenutally get the 200 man melee down the others, thanks for all the tips guys.

If you've already completed it with Rita, one thing you might want to try with Yuri is equipping the Dhaos Cape for the Dhaos Blast arte. Very spammable.
