Nah, I agree with you. That's an amazing disc. _________________

Forgot to check this in awhile, as no one was posting.
SymphonicAbyssLegend, you say that you have the same recycle symbol as mine. Is your disc the same as mine too? There are numbers written on the bottom of the disc, so I guess maybe it was a real copy after all. Still doesn't explain why the seller acted weird.
Also, I guess the recycle symbol is just a new thing that's come up.
My copy of Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands for Wii also has the recycle symbol (bought from Walmart). |

Yeah that disk does look better.
The recycle symbol just means you didn't get the original box (probably) but the cooler disk image certainly suggests illegitimacy.
Any disk will have numbers and letters on the underside, it's what they are that counts. _________________ The ember is dust before the wind... |

The recycle symbol doesn't have anything to do with not being the original box. As mentioned, my Prince of Persia copy for Wii is like that, and it's definitely original, bought from Walmart.
The recycle symbol represents the new cheap type boxes that companies are using to save plastic.
Also, certain new rereleases of PS2 games have cheaper boxes, like they don't have the space where you can put the memory card. I still want to see what that guy has to say about the disc, since he said his box had the recycle symbol and he bought it from gamestop so it's legit. |

;____; I-I... I'm a girl. *sobs*
And the recycle symbol there is probably yes, to save plastic. It's pretty flimsy. But there are numbers on the bottom of my disk too, and it also has the official Nintendo seal on it. _________________

Sorry, didn't know.
What I meant to ask is if your disc has the same picture on it as mine. |

I guess that seller got defensive because they were blamed for that. I dunno. :/
But yes, I have the same image on my disk. _________________

| So there is the conclusion to this topic, it's legit since gamestop was selling it. |

Well, the one I personally got was from there. I don't know where yours came from. I don't think it IS a copy now that we've gone through this, but I do know when people copy things, they tend to look exactly the same by picture, although the quality is worse. _________________

| That makes sense as I've seen reprints with cheaper covers like in this case. |

Mm. It's likely not the original, first released kind. Although, mine was a used copy, so I don't know what the original owner thought. _________________

I think it is the original, since my copy did appear to be factory sealed.
Also, I already mentioned my copy of Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands was factory sealed and bought at walmart, and it had the recycle logo cover.
It's just a way to save plastic. |

It is. But what I mean is that it might not be a first print copy. _________________
