Okay, I've only got the PS3 version of Vesperia, and my Japanese is less than... ideal.

Anyways, I know this video is really old (Xbox360 version):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcHecCwCxSw

However, how the heck is that damage output so high? I mean I got everyone's fell arms to 9999, and I'm sure that the enemies that person was hitting was on Unknown, otherwise, they wouldn't survive such high damage.

I know Yuri's damage multiplier skills only apply on the first hit, so how the heck did everyone in that video can dish out so much damage O_O

Yuri was dishing out 50k per each Savage Wolf Fury hit O_O

Question 2: I thought Rita hit the whole field with her MA. So how did that one octopus survive a fell arm Ancient Catastrophe? ._.

Edit: Wait... Blue Fatal Strikes... I was able to google it. However, when I tried it with Savage wolf fury with a 50 chain combo (then blue fatal striked another enemy) it ONLY applied to the first hit of Savage Wolf Fury ._.

Did they change it in the PS3 version or something?

I don't recall the maximum being 9999, but whatevs. Yuri's damage multiplying skills have nothing to do with dealing consistently high damage, either.

Are you sure you know what you mean by chain combo? Probably, but just checking. You use the Minimum Damage weapons to rack up a combo, and every time an FS symbol appears and you keep comboing (by using blue FS artes without killing the enemy), your chain goes up. When you kill an enemy with a blue Fatal Strike with that chain still in play, you get an attack bonus of +(whateveryourchainwas)%. Like all bonuses it doesn't last the whole battle, but the bonus is still a bonus. After that, you activate OVL and use an Arcane Arte, pause and switch weapons back before Savage Wolf Fury activates, and then let loose.

I had "100 Chain" on screen... and fatal strike'd the enemy at the end of the 100 chain (giving me that Magic attack and Physical Attack icon on every character).

The Abyssion damage did not increase on Savage Wolf Fury at all. Was it changed in the PS3 Version?

I found this on the fell arms thread:

Doesn't matter.

Of course, most of this is due to FS Chain shenanigans, but for argument's sake you really don't need to know, even if there was one.

The point is that after so many kills, it doesn't really matter how many you've killed because it won't upgrade by a significant amount. That's why mainly using FS chain upgrades is easier for mass-racking damage.

Uhh... Please get your facts straight, the max the attack stat can be for any character is 11498 which is for the dominant attack stat while the undominant attack stat maxes out at 9999.

The following characters have the max Physical Attack of 11498:
Yuri, Karol, Judith, Repede

The following characters have the max Magic Attack of 11498:
Estelle, Rita,

The exception to this rule is Raven who has a Physical Attack of 10298 and a Magic Attack of 11771.

The max the attack stats could go were changed in the PS3 version however where both attack stats maxed at 9999.

@Drake: The Blue FS was changed so that method doesn't work anymore.

Guess that type of damage is out of reach for me Razz
