@Psychon: Yukiko and I were wondering if you have MSN.
Also, have I ever told you that you are amazing? Because you are ha
I will put all of that stuff in tomorrow when I get up, since I am going to play some Vesperia now. And I have no life, so you can count on me getting most of it done.
Also, I start working tomorrow, but I'll still be active every day.
I don't think there is a major religion though. Should there be one? _________________

I guess you can count the Creed of the Moon as a religion. Or, at least, you should add it to the important terms section. I'll PM you tomorrow with details.
And there's finally a Creed padran I look forward to working with you, Yukiko :] _________________

Name: Lydda Eathelyn
Nickname: Azure Songstress
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Race: Aquada
Birthplace: Micla
(Appearance Picture (though, imagine she has blue skin tone))
General Description: Lydda has a slender figure and stands at 5’ 7” in height. Her skin tone ranges from tints of light blue to deep shades of cerulean near her navel and the upper right of her face, and along her neck are rows of thin slits where her gills are to be. She has short, pale blue hair and her bangs curved toward the right side of her face. Her eyes are a deep shade sapphire, which they are often seen lacking in luster.
The attire (sorry, I’m bad at describing this sort of clothing, refer to the picture if my description doesn’t make sense) she normally wears is a sleeveless, white and teal top with a thin teal ring curving around her torso and wears thick bracelets just below her shoulders and left wrist. Her right forearm is covered by a blue, transparent arm-sleeve with golden colored designs curving all along it and she wears a white, clothed skirt that is held by an elegant golden belt with azure feathers hanging along the bottom edges. She also wears a sort of elegant ornament over her left ear and over her right is a bright crimson flower. Whenever she is venture outside, she wears white strapped sandals.
Weapon(s): Lydda doesn’t carry any weapons on her, but she does have a small, golden harp which she uses for magic.
Elements: Water
Attacks: Will add some later… but it will mainly be water-element/healing Charter spells to aid disorientating her opponents for her companions, since she is not a melee fighter.
Personality: Lydda was once a playful and adventurous girl when she was in her home of the open ocean. She had an overflowing of curiosity—fed by her parents stories—and it often had gotten her into trouble at times. She was naive of the dangers of the world around her and usually behaved optimistically. However, this was all in the past before she had been taken from her home.
Now, Lydda is very distrustful of everyone around her (with the exception of other Aquadas). She is more easily frightened and has become a bit submissive from the torture she was put through when she misbehaved. Nearly all of her optimism and playfulness have completely diminished in her present self. Though, the only thing that is her saving grace which prevented her to fall deeply into depression was singing her favorite hymns underwater. Despite being forced to sing everyday by her captors, it was the only thing that calmed and gave her hope and determination.
Brief Personal Details/History: Lydda was born in the Aquadas home of Micla and was raised by well-known family of bards and songstresses. Her father was a storyteller and her mother was a popular songstress, and every night while Lydda was growing up, they would share their stories and experience with her. The tales of the outside world, myths of the deep sea, and the light that gave her people hope that was hidden at the heart of their city; Lydda absorbed every word her father fed to her and her knowledge and imagination grew. Time after time, she enjoyed her father’s stories so much that when she was old enough to explore on her own in the vast ocean of her home, she wanted to become an adventurer to explore all she can of her ocean home and later, the world.
One day when Lydda was exploring a trench below Micla, she stumbled upon a cave and decided to investigate it, thinking she would find something like the treasures that her father had described to her. As she ventured further in the underwater cavern, the darker it was for her to see, so she relied on the sound waves that her people used to communicate to navigate through the cavern. Once she found herself in an open chamber, she sensed something within the center and blindly moved towards it. However, her body suddenly froze and she was engulfed by an immense source of warm light and the next thing she knew, her body was swept away by a strong current. She was only able to grab onto a stone stalagmite, before a moment later her grasp slipped from the stone and she was washed away from the cavern completely into the open ocean once again.
Except, her journey didn’t end there. The ocean current continued to sweep her away, further and further from her home of Micla and her family. In her hands were only fragments of the stalagmite she held onto and the harp that her mother had given her, which she always kept at all times. When Lydda was finally able to break free from the ocean current, she became lost and disorientated by the unfamiliar waters. Hours became days and without finding any traces of her home, she was soon startled as a net enveloped her and pulled her up onto a large sea vessel occupied by slave traders. They have imprisoned and took her to the mainland where she was to be sold in the black market after discovering about her singing talent beneath the water. Days later, she was taken to an exotic club in Ralam, where she was tortured and “broken in” before placing her on display inside a large glass jar filled completely with water where her voice could be heard from the outside. Her singing talent could only be heard below the surface of the water because if one were to hear it in the air, their eardrums would be tormented with deafening screeches. They dressed her up in the most fanciest of clothing and used the fragments of the crystalline stalagmite found with her as jewels of a necklace hung loosely around her neck. From then on, she started her life in the world she found cruel and nothing like the stories her father had told her, causing her to have a pessimistic outlook in life.
For months, Lydda forcefully sung and serviced the customers of the club, and waited patiently for the right time to execute her escape. She was submissive at the presence of her owners, but once they were to have their backs turned to her, she secretly planned a way to break free from her prison. The hymns that her mother taught her were the only thing that gave her hope and pushed her forward to her goal. ~She leaned her head against the cool glass of her prison, staring vacantly at the open door as a customer left the room. Though, at the same moment, a spark of light shown in her dull sapphire eyes as she caught the sight of the city outside, seeing its beauty with the sun setting in the sky—all she wanted was to be free.

Yeah, he is somewhat of a salute to FE but also to Super Robot Taisen OG. I wasn't actually thinking of FE when I named his weapons as they are based on what he stands for really and Sol and Luna suit the elements within his swords. While he can't combine them he is ambidextrous so he can dual weild with them considerably well.
@HF: Yeah it's fine if you call me Nero, it was my last name on here so it dosen't bother me. Also I corrected the location names, no idea why I stuck an extra 'S' in there with them. Just getting started on my second character, it'll probably be a villian working for the PoD and most likely a Padran unless I think of another idea. _________________

Sorry HF, I don't have MSN because every time I try installing it my computer needs "another update" or some other utter nonsense telling me why I can't install it yet.
On a slightly related note, damn, there's a ton of astronomy-themed characters. |

Firanis isn't really astronomy themed, but more of a darkness, shadow-themed guy. I just added in the Creed of the "Moon" as a symbol for darkness. _________________

@Akashic: Wow...that was great. I love the history, and the picture seems to fit her perfect. I'll go and add you then. Also, you are fine with what was discussed in the PM
@Nero: Alright. That will be fine, but remember that Yukiko has taken the PoD's Padran. Unless of course you are planning on just making another Padran that will work with him.
@Psychon: Really? That's strange. I only asked because it would make communicating so much easier. And yes, I do see a lot of astronomy in some of the characters. It's kind of funny, since I was planning on changing "Evenos Crystals" to "Silver Moon Crystals"...
@Archer: I added the Creed of the Moon to the important terms last night. Let me know if there is anything that you want me to add to the description, since I just based it off of what you described in the PoD's history.
@Yukiko: That you are!
I'll be around for a few hours if anyone else has questions or anything, so feel free to ask here or just send a PM. I plan to start the RP on Wednesday. That way, people can use the Christmas break and stuff to get in their starting posts.
I feel like the main post is missing something :/ And I am also paranoid that the orginization is horrible. ha _________________

Silver Moon Crystals? What is this, Skies of Arcadia?
But still, go for it. In fact, this RP would be awesome if there was a astronomy/lunar motif, no? And if you make them moon crystals, that gives a double meaning to the Creed of the Moon
and check your PM's, HF.
Oh and Yukiko, add me on MSN. If what HF told me is true, that you don't like PM's, then we'll work through IM and email. 'kay? _________________

HEY GUYS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO LET ME KNOW ABOUT PM's NOW! O:
I got my pop up thing to work. Success.
And I think I am going to keep the name as is. Just because everyone has it in their bios and everything.
I'll see what I can add into the Important Section about the Creed though. _________________

Alright, since they're still Evenos Crystals, how bout this: There was already a suggestion to increase the number of Crystals, no? I know this would be really cliche, but how about you make 8 crystals, one for each basic element? It's dumb and overdone lol but it would add extra length to the RP. _________________

No, that sounds like a good idea. I can't say anything now, since it would kind of some things, but that would work nicely. I'll add it to the first post.[/quote] _________________

Well, my sister did help me with making her, so I was able to develop Lydda's story a bit better than I did with Avan's (which I've made alone). ^^;; Also, yeah, I like that picture of her too. It took me a while to scavange through DeviantArt for water nymphs and sprites to find the right one. XD;; _________________
