So what's next... Special Attacks and Mystic Artes, right? Can we develop original arte lists for our characters, too?

I just wanted to say, I changed Michirus VA to Laura Bailey...
Yes, Julianne Buescher and Laura Bailey have both voiced Anko Mitarashi in Naruto, so I kind of mixed them up ^^;
(By the way, Laura Bauiley also appeared as Marta Lualdi in ToS2 and as Gauche in ToV)

A little heads-up. I changed Damon's daggers to a set of gauntlets and greaves for hand to hand combat. I realized this is more fitting for beastmen. Getting up close and personal with your body as a weapon, fitting for a woman who captured the heart of a beastman.

Ok, so here's the temp party member.

Vulcan
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Homonculus
Personality: Vulcan is very firm in his beliefs. He believes that life is precious and shouldn't be wasted. He's adventurous and heroic. He treasures his freedom to choose his life. He also has a very childish view on things like the ocean and snow.
Backstory: Vulcan is a Homonculus, a combination of magic and science created as a emotionless supersoldier to be sold during wartimes. He and the Homonculi rebelled and escaped into the world. Vulcan lives as a wanderer helping those who need it. He stumbles upon a mine with people trapped in it just before he meets the party.
Weapons & Fighting Style: He fights with his body, transforming his arms into claws. He also carries a small cannon for launching magical based projectiles that be attached to his arm and simply punching and kicking very acrobatically.
Appearance: His most notable features are his lack of a shirt, his scarred body and the bandages he has covering the upper part of his chest(they cover his "heart" you see).
Voice Actor: Patrick Seitz
Misc.: I''l be blunt, he heroic sacrifices. You can get him back through a sidequest and he's all "OH THANK GOD, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST FRIENDS EVAR!!!!!"

Hmm, Vulcan... Is that all there is to the character, or is there more spice? I mean, it's a solid character, but a bit 2-dimensional.

I've decided on Ulysses's and Cerridwen's VAs: Liam O'Brien and (higher pitched) Michelle Ruff, respectively. They're a bit overdone but at the same time they're perfect...

Here are some of Ulysses's Special attacks:

The Unfortunate Volunteer (Offense)
Taking cues from his skills as a stage magician, Ulysses pulls out a hand saw and cuts his foe in two. Deals strong dark-elemental magic damage.

Shackles (Offense)
Ulysses smacks into enemies and binds them with a magic chain. The strike deals extra damage and the target becomes completely immobilized (as if it were petrified).

Void Annihilation (Offense)
Ulysses summons two globes of energy, one of light and one of shadow. The globes dance around the target before colliding into the foe simultaneously. Deals strong non-elemental magic damage.

Today, Victory (Support)
All allies heal 10% HP and TP upon defeating enemies. Effect stacks if a character is equipped with a related item (Miracle Bangle, etc.).

Amplification (Augmentation)
Ulysses's spells gain a larger AOE.

By the way, how would weapons be bought/found? As a trio, or individually?

Something I forgot to mention, Vulcan is technically the youngest party member. He's physically 21, but only about 7 years old real time.
2-dimensional? Really? Hmm, I don't really see it. He's is rather melancholic about certain things, like his inability to age and physically feel some things.

Also, for special attacks, each character only has 5, no matter their weapon, it's the same five moves.
Everyone has at least 3 offensive attacks, some have 1 support move, some have a fourth offensive move. Everyone has an augmentive move, a move that boosts their stats and gives a special effect.

Weapons are found individually with the exceptions of special weapons like the ones you get from winning the arena or ultimate weapons which are recieved in sets of 3.

Well then, you should've mentioned Vulcan's troubles. That alone adds another layer of depth to his character. See, he's well-rounded after all Very Happy

And by following your guide, I went and edited Ulysses's Special Attacks. Now all five are done, to your specifications. Take a look, they're in my last post ^^
But I'm kinda thinking that Void Annihilation had some Mystic Arte potential... oh well.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not posting for a while, I've been really sick lately.

I've been thinking about what spurs Alistair to go on his journey, but then I thought that Alistair seems like kind of guy to go on a journey just to go on a journey. Start out with no plot and build up.
Does that sound any good?
