Anger venting thread?
cool.
Well, let's start this rant out by me pointing out what I hate the most.
1. Character development.
ok let's name things that the characters are and not develop on them at all.
Lloyd - Hero Archetype
Colette -Klutz/cute Archetype
Genis - Shota stereotype(varies)
Raine - Teacher Archetype
Zelos - pervert Archetype
Kratos - Cool Archetype
Presea - SOMETHING ORIGINAL
Regal - What is this I don't even.

Zelos is the pimp of the game who also wants to have hot incestual sex with his sister(also stated earlier in the thread). although this is only explained at like, one part in the game, it is however expanded in Dawn of the New Emil.
Colette is the best character.

Came here to complain about this but now I don't really need to.
Seriously, I find it more annoying than the Tower's anti-gravity rooms and Ymir Forest combined. |
Yeah, Ymir was a bit overly long and dull the first time round but it's nothing compared to Latheon. |

I actually hate the Meltokio sewers more than Latheon Gorge and Ymir Forest. I pretty much know the route in Latheon Gorge and Ymir Forest is actually kind of fun to do once you know the procedure. But the sewers are a horrible drain because of the blocks thing. You get a block, push it along the annoying route, push it down, you have to go all the way back to get a new one, you have to push the block even further along, you push it down, you have to go back to get a new one... And so on. It's really aggravating.
That, and the Lightning Temple. I still get lost in that place.

The most annoying dungeons:
Latheon Gorge (I know the route but reviving those plants is just a pain in the butt)
Meltokio Sewers (like Meowzy said, pushing those blocks takes forever)
Somewhat annoying:
Ymir Forest (just because the idea of the dungeon is stupid, can't I just pick up the damn fruit?!)
Welgaia dungeon (the place is such a mess and I hate the floating enemies =/)
Temple of Darkness (those damn little shadow kids just can't follow you properly - . -)
Gaoracchia Forest (I hate these infinite loop forests...)
Phew... I think those are the worst in my opinion. Fortunately there are so many enjoyable dungeons that I don't even mind these others.

Was Ymir Forest really that difficult? When you talk to the boy who blocks your way, the party gives you a clue as to where you must sound the Sorcerer's ring each step (they say look for the blue butterflies fluttering atop each flower). So if you pay close attention to where the butterflies are floating, the answers to the puzzle are pretty much spelled out for you.
