Would you rather a prequel?

Would you rather have had a prequel to Tales of Symphonia as the game, where you play as mithos?

I have always thought this would be a good idea, he was hero of his time and went on an adventure of his own.

I know there was a lot of dislike for DotNW, would you have prefered this?

If I had a dollar for every time someone suggested this..... Boy, I'd be so rich I could buy Namco and create my own damn prequel. Except I wouldn't, because I really don't want one.

I would LIKE to see a prequel, but I'm fine with this game, too. I wouldn't mind having both, actually. O:

Hmm..seems like a good idea. It would be pretty interesting, but this idea seems somewhat overrated, as many people have already came up with this idea once before. I think the game is fine the way it is. Leave it at that.

KoR was a mess and while I feel there're less things they could have messed up in a prequel, we got that and we don't need any more messing up of Aselia.

Honestly, I would've LIKED a prequel TOO, but too many games would be focusing on Aselia. First they have Phantasia, then they go four thousand years earlier for Symphonia, then they make a sequel to Symphonia. Having a prequel to Symphonia 1 would make it four games focused on Aselia. Unless they plan to do that for every world in the Tales series to satisfy everyone, I wouldn't recommend a prequel; at least not any time soon.

I wouldn't mind seeing more ToS (a PS3 remake would be awesome, for example), and a prequel wouldn't be unwelcome, especially since it seems that Miyajima had planned what happened in the Kharlan War in some details when writing the original Symphonia (while KoR's storyline was made up on the spot, and not even by him), so there'll be little window to screw up and create plotholes. Plus he's not Yoshida (who can't even get her own a-few-years-before prequel movie consistent with her game); every prequel, gaiden or whatever he's written has so far been perfectly consistent with the original games.
Of course, that's provided they call him back if they make one. And making it a mothership would be best.

I doubt they'll be making ANOTHER remake, though. KoR was just a spin-ff, though, so it can't really be counted as a one hundred percent sequel. If they DO make the prequel by HIM, however, it would probably be a mothership title if it was long enough. I guess we'll have to go by what's happening to ToGF, though. It's considered a sequel, apparently, that happens about, what, six months later? If they put it with the mothership titles, then I'm sure a prequel to ToS would be there, too. Things like ToP:ND and ToS:KoR were spin-offs to the originals, so they weren't put in as mothership titles.
