You get plenty of EXP. at the end of the game, and you get enough throughout. By the end of the game, you should be roughly around level 70 without double EXP. on from the GRADE shop, WHILE using Holy Bottles throughout the majority of the game. I've gotten to and past level 100 with double EXP. on while using Holy Bottles the whole game, so EXP. can't be THAT low if this happens.

Well, of courser they'd have more life near the end of the game. Your characters should be at a high enough level to deal with it by then. As your characters get stronger, they take more damage, so it could seem like the enemies don't actually GET more life in the end anyway.

But the problem is that enemies get too much life. Random encounters often give four enemies, each with roughly 30 k HP. Combined with Legendia's high encounter rate, and battles soon become tedious, and dungeons (which are already huge) become a chore.

And they don't even give much EXP!

I think the Garyuu Ougi (sorry, not sure what the English version calls these) system could have made this easier to deal with, but the implementation was pretty clunky IMO. The fact that you can only have one per character at a time is very limiting, and some of them (Chloe's in particular) are very hard to use.

I did two things to ameliorate this -- first, I started running away from the "nushi" monsters in the Chaotic Zones because they have so many HP and give so little XP. Second, I got the Extreme and the Demon Seal as soon as I could.

SAL: Once I finish the arena with Norma I'll go ahead and cap the scene and fight against the Pandemoneum Gaet.

O: Thanks. The site is pretty hard to navigate since I can't read it, even with the translations. ^^; How do you watch videos on it?

You have to make an account; once you have that you can just log in. I think there are tutorials for how to do that, but I'll upload a video later today if you don't want to go through the hassle. It is kind of annoying if you can't read the buttons or instructions.

I used Google's instant translator, so I got it figured out pretty well. The video box came up, so I'll see how it goes from here on. ^^
Thanks again~!

Although I don't see why people complain about ToL since if it's voiced in Japanese, it IS voiced. =P

An easier way to do it is just to go to the nicovideo redirector:
http://mmcafe.com/nico.html

And put a URL of a video like this one:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1087533

You can turn off the scrolling comments with the little bubble at the bottom right.

(EDIT: My capture device is behaving strangely anyway so I'm not going to record today. I was able to at least get the screenshot I wanted, though:
)

And apparently, some people DO. =_= You don't have to act like that just because someone is joking around. Chill out a little, man.

And obviously they're not complaining about it! But to anyone playing the English version, the CQs are unvoiced, and whether or not it's voiced in Japanese is irrelevant to them.

That doesn't stop the storyline from being a good one. And since THEY are not complaining, YOU should not complain, either. All versions have the same story - it doesn't matter if it's voiced or not. People are getting spoiled over voiced games and thus start whining and complaining when a game is not fully or at all voiced. Even hand-held games are all expected to be voiced these days.

I'm not going to bother talking to you, because anything you say, especially about Legendia, is NOT going to get anywhere near my head. What I think about it is how I'm going to continue thinking about it, and I'm the only one who can change my opinion of it. If anything, my opinion will only get better, because that's all it's ever done for ToL since I started playing it.

Please point out where I said that leaving the CQs unvoiced ruined the story.

Hint: you won't be able to, because I never did. Please don't resort to strawmen.

I know I don't need to respond to this since it's tied to the previous statement, but this really bothers me. So what, if other people aren't complaining, then I have no right to? Seriously? No, I think I'll voice my opinions, thanks.

It's not like I can't stand to play a game that isn't fully voiced, or eve totally unvoiced. I mean, I'm a fairly avid reader. The reason that I, and many others, are annoyed with the unvoiced CQs is because of how jarring it is; the first half of the game is voiced, and then the second is silent. And how is that not a valid complaint?

Right, and I'm the one who needs to "chill out a little". Maybe you should take your own advice.

And for the record, I'm a big Tales of Legendia fan. It's my favourite game in the series.

Since I'm passing by, may as well respond.

I wasn't talking about YOU, I was talking about people who've commented about it in general. I also don't see why you're in the ToL section of the forums if you're going to sit around insulting it against someone who is defending it. If you're as much of a Legendia fan as you claim to be, you'd be defending it, too.

You can voice your opinion withing complaining. It IS possible.

I'm sure the producers had a reason to not have voiced the second half. Either deadlines or money issue could've caused it. Again, even if you're only reading, it doesn't stop the story from being good. Voiced or not, the plot is still the plot. I don't care if there is voice or not, because it doesn't voice to be good. It also lets a person use imagination to create emotion in the dialogue; it's not already there for you.

I don't need to chill out at all. I'm perfectly calm writing all this. I have no advice of my own that needs to be taken. I'm giving my points out as a response, and that is it. I did so before, but you commented on that and haven't exactly been nice since.

I'm also a huge fan, and it IS my favorite game; not just of the Tales series. That is why I am defending it and throwing out all of its GOOD points and avoiding any bad ones; hell, if there ARE even bad points. I, personally, find nothing wrong that is major with this game. Every game has some sort of flaw in it, so I'm not going to go against it just because it's like every other game out there with flaws.
