Just wait!

The Mean Girls episode will be our savior!

Also, watch S1 if you want more episodes like that. So far, imo, S1>S2.

Actually that's not quite true; the Hottie Spill episode was pretty hilarious too. But the last three have been really lacking...

Wait, what's not true, S1 being better than S2, or the Mean Girls episode looking good?

Also I agree about the last three episodes. The first 3 were excellent so it sucks to see this happen to the series.

None of the above; I was trying to amend my earlier post but I did it in a horribly confusing manner. But basically, what I meant is that the Hottie Spill episode was about on par with the Pop and Locktoberfest episode. And I mentioned this in the first place because yhe Hottie Spill episode was much better than recent episodes, so I felt it was unfair to lump them all together.

Although while I'm explaining myself, I should also mention that the three most recent episodes aren't bad as such, because they still had laughs, but they didn't feel like they were as great as they should have been.

I should get around to buying season 1, though. I haven't seen more than three, four episodes.

Do it already Laughing

If you are a fan on the less over-the top styled episodes you'll really enjoy S1 once it hits its stride.

That's not to say that S1 doesn't have as much silliness in it, it's just more grounded and believable.

EDIT: Hey, conn, how did you find this episode?

LOL, you should both remember that comedy is a very subjective thing. It comes in many different varieties and some are bound to be less pleasing to your palette than others.

One of the things I enjoy most about Community is that it delves into many different types of comedy. What results is people having vastly differing favorite and least favorite episodes (except for the rare episode where everything seems to come together like Modern Warfare).

So yeah, just keep in mind that this show doesn't have a consistent comedic approach which is sort of reflective of its well-developed and diverse characters and makes for a much less mundane experience IMO.

That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed this week's episode.
"DOUBLE BOUNCE ME!" and "It's going to be a maze." were two of my favorite lines.

Apparently, Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Theo Huxtable) will guest star in a future Community episode as Shirley's husband.

EDIT:

THE COMMUNITY I KNOW AND LOVE IS BACK, PEOPLE!

This episode owns.

They missed the puppies :[

Abed was win in this episode... but then again so was everyone else. Good stuff.

Also, it would be nice if my mac wasn't archaic and I could actually watch the full ending clips rather than watching part and witnessing my DVR's inability to record an entire program.

Also also, Chang vs. Huxtable in a battle for Shirley! I'm calling this one right now.

No excuses Conn.

That is, if Amazon's black friday deals apply to Canada.

Holy god this week's ep was fantastic.

Loved the gun parts at the end.

Ughhhh revisiting JeffXAnnie. I knew it would happen just from the episode descripton. It just feels awkward, even if it's better than Jeff and Britta.

EDIT: The Christmas episode will be in stop motion.

Smile

LOL whoever plays the dean should be credited as a main character, his roles are becoming more prominent (and more hilarious).

It looks like they're bringing the whole Annie/Jeff/Britta love triangle thing back again. I don't really want that to happen, but there are worse things they could do to the show so I'm not gonna complain.

I hope we get a Chang-centric episode soon though.
Do you know if any Changisodes are coming up, Hyoo?
