First of all I would like you to know this is my first RP. I may need some help from you all if I post something weird or confusing. When I am out of high school/collage I intend to become a writer so this will be good practice for me. Anyways what I am trying to do here is to get the full (detailed) story of how Mithos and co. came to split the world into two. Note: Key words have “quotation” marks

The world being punished by hell is slowly being poisoned by the very “manna” keeping it alive. Disease, Death, Natural Disasters are flooding the eastern half of the world. That is because the “manna flow” is being cut off and rerouted, the streams going west and the streams going east are colliding and producing “Dark Manna” which is causing the
trouble “War” like trouble.

A dying plea was sent out from the earth and the manna, to keep life going and to repair the “manna streams” though the earth was yelling nobody heard. Until one day a young boy named “Mithos” was listening and heard.

(note: this is just to get a start the main course of the story is still to come)
Community Characters (main char. Can be controlled by everyone)

Mithos Yggdrasill
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Race: Half-Elf
Hair Color: Blonde
Details: Mithos is the younger brother of Martel and the one who heard the plea of the earth. He is shy around people he doesn’t know well, but is not afraid to fight for what he wants. He will do almost anything for his sister and is always looking out for others.
Weapon: Crystal Bracelet
Class: Mage

Martel Yggdrasill
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Half-Elf
Hair Color: Red (she changes to black)
Details: Martel is the older sister of Mithos Cruxis’ And Lover of Yuan Ka-Fai. She is very motherly to her brother, but sometimes can get a “little” over the top. She is smart and can think fast (but not always the cleverest ways). She can also be pretty forgetful and can’t always think of the words she wants.
Weapon: Crystal Staff
Class: Healer

Kratos Aurion
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hair Color: Blaze Red
Details:Yuan's best friend, Kratos is well known by everybody in Heimdall as the dark rebellious gangster. He seems shut off but he just doesn’t have much to say. Mithos likes him because Kratos is like a brother to Mithos.
Weapons: Sword/Shield
Class: Swordsman/Mage/Healer

Yuan Ka-Fai
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Half-Elf
Hair Color: Blue
Details:Being a Half-Elf, Yuan can't be allowed in Heimdall but anyway Yuan was the last who joined Mithos' group and only decided to accompany them to prove that what Mithos' ideals couldn't be realized and he was a hypocrith as explained in Tales of Fandom.
When he met Mithos' group Yuan was a high ranked officer in the Sylvarant army (and being high ranked for a Half-Elf is extremely rare because of discrimination). Before joining Mithos and Martel, Kratos was in the Tethe'alla army but left it to travel with Mithos. When Kratos was still in the army, Yuan remarked Kratos' skills but was pissed off that Kratos wouldn't notice him. (thanks eoghan)
Weapon: Dual-Sided Sword
Class: Dual-Sided Swordsman
Note: all these chars. Are good

The other Chars. In the party will be decided by you just fill out a form like this,

Name

Age: 6-65

Gender: Male/Female

Race: Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Demon/Dwarf/Animal

Hair Color: Color

Details: give a description of the characters personality

Weapon(s): what do they use to fight with?

Class: Mage/Healer/swordsman/axe-man/Archer/Lancer/Thief/Ninja/etc…

Alignment: Good/Evil/Nutral

{Note: they did NOT have guns back then}

Rules

1. Type things out on a word processor then copy and paste them in.

2. No God powers you can NOT destroy a whole field of weak or strong enemies in 1 hit, not even tidal wave.

3. Anyone (in the RP) can control the community characters, but not other peoples characters fates, you can’t Kill/Severely hurt/make them leave/get them shunned (your own char. can) .

4. No drastic plot changes.

5. no splitting up main characters (exceptions: absolutely needed/Martel dies)
But try to keep parties small, you can split off groups of your characters (with permission) but not community chars.
But must continue their story (EX. Joining Fran’s party: after Fran and the gang split with Mithos…………)

6. USE GOOD DESCRIPTION AND PROPER GRAMMER

7. Healing is not very strong (no resurrections, new limbs, etc) it can heal cuts and wounds, but healing a sliced open hand takes a while.

8. No cursing (Damn is ok)

9. be descriptive with magic, (Ex: From the land of the living I call upon the and the land of the dead to unleash thy fury of THUNDER. Then a giant bolt of blue thunder shot out of the sky and devastated the enemies in front of them)

10. NO LEET

11. Remember, these enemies aren't cake or easy. No one, no matter HOW strong, can tear through hundreds of people/demons without rest, help, or a ton of support from magic or etc. (thanks GodessMartel)

Yellow=Comunity Chars.
Black=Players
Char. List
Good
Mithos Yggdrasill-Half-Elf
Martel Yggdrasill-Half-Elf
Kratos Aurion-Human
Yuan Ka-Fai-half-elf

Will Friah-Human
Will Friah

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Hair Color: Brown

Details: As a child will was a happy kid until one day that all changed. When demons once attacked his hometown of Ozete both his parents were killed right in front of his face. He went to live at an orphanage after that. There he made friends and practiced fighting so he can avenge his parents, once he was old enough to leave he went in search of the demon gang that ravaged Ozete the demon gang known as “The Diablo’s”. He is a pretty nice guy to be with when he’s not thinking about The Diablo’s. He always seems to have some smart remark when people screw up. On occasion he goes back to the orphanage to brother all the younger kids, because he’s a little kid at heart.
During his traveling he came across the summon spirit known as Celsius. He had followed some demons into her temple and saved her from what else would be a horrible danger to the world. Though he could not make a pact with her she was so grateful that she decided to enchant his Scythe. She gave Will a scythe that can form into pure ice that won’t melt. The pure ice allows him to partially reform it to make it longer, or give it more of a curve. The only way he could use the power was if he had Celsius’s Jewel. Luckily for him she had it, and gave it to him. She also told him if he breaks or loses the jewel he will lose the enchantment and she will get it back and not give it to him again.
Will likes to wear a black overcoat and Red leather sash to hold Celsius’s jewel. Under the coat he has a white silk shirt that acts as armor. Around his neck he has his mother’s keepsake, a diamond cut into the shape of a heart. On his hands he wears Iron gauntlets to keep his hands from getting frostbite from his scythe. He wears white silk pants to match his shirt, and he has a bandana on his head but still lets his hair show around the edges.

Weapon(s): Scythe

Class: Reaper, elemental summoner (not spiritual summoner)

Alignment: good

Serhat Shahrivar-Human
Serhat Shahrivar

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Hair Color: Black

Details: A former resident of Triet, son of a local archaeologist whose life was deeply invested in the studies of the ruins hidden within the desert. From an early age, it appeared that he was destined to take his fathers place, as he would often accompany his father into the expeditions exploring the old ruins. His life would forever change when he and his father managed to find a mausoleum hidden in the desert sands.
Inside the mausoleum, they found the remains of an entire, ancient tribe, all buried around the visage of their leader. In the center of the mausoleum sat a large, metal statue, of a silent, armor-clad man perched upon a throne. Ancient writing marked the forehead of the metal statue, writing which Serhat's father could not begin to comprehend. For two days they studied the ruins alone, unearthing various relics and other time-forgotten treasures, deciphering what little of the writings they could understand. It was on the third day disaster struck; when investigating the ancient statue, Serhat touched the statue's arm. The instant flesh met metal, the statue's surface seemed to come to life, responding to his presence; the metal of the statue began to wrap around his hand seemingly consuming it. Had Serhat's father not intervened, his fate may have been far more grim.
After sealing off the tomb, Serhat's father rushed his son back to the safety of Triet, where it was discovered the statue had left its curse on Serhat, an odd metal growth on his palm where he had touched the statue. Attempts to remove the growth surgically or medicinally proved fruitless, and even provoked the effects of the statue's mark. Serhat now had some form of magical power, an ability normally restricted to those with elven blood. He was able to utilize magic that commanded metal.
Serhat's newfound abilities became a curse to him, within weeks of the incident which changed him, he became an outcast in the community of Triet; he was, in their eyes, an evil omen, something unnatural that should simply not exist. He could take no more, and one day, simply left Triet, living alone in the desert. He is only rarely seen by passerby who travel to or from Triet through the desert surrounding it, and has almost become a thing of myth in Triet. Serhat's father would soon succumb to illness, dying at a relatively young age, supposedly, ending the Shahrivar family line.
Serhat, in reality, is no monster; he is an exceptionally shy and cautious individual, cautious to the point of which he almost seems to be afraid of other people and takes extreme measures to hide his true identity. His shyness, in turn makes him a quiet, reserved individual; well-suited to the life of a hermit. Regardless of his other qualities, Serhat has a very sound sense of morality, and a highly defined sense of right and wrong; he would never dream of abusing his abilities for mere personal gain, in fact, he still curses himself for having them. It is interesting to note that he cooperates well with half-elves because of the similarity of their situation with his.

Weapons: His body; the metal he produces and controls through magic he can shape into various blades or rods to assist him while fighting.

Class: Mage/Fighter

Alignment: Good

Neutral

Evil

No, I'm sorry if you missed that, there's basically a metal growth on the skin of his palm where he touched the statue; he still has all his body parts. The statue in question is now lost somewhere in the desert underground, but Serhat and his currently dead father are the only ones who knew where it was buried.

Because we totally don't have enough Symphonia RP's already.

And your spelling is terrible.

That may be because Symphonia is the most known Tales game in the western Tales community.

@ RenegadeNick27: I'm a bit confused, when I read the first paragraphs I thought you wanted us to play the time of when Mithos and co. were (even if not seen as such yet) heroes during the great War that happened fout thousands years before Symphonia but as it was meant to have happened from what we know of Symphonia and Fandom vol.2. But when I read the next paragraph I saw that it is very different from what I know about this epoch and many things in the character's descriptions isn't "right".
For example, Tabatha was a robot created by Altessa long after Mithos' sister, Martel's death, Martel was in love with Yuan and not with Kratos, Yuan is a half-elf and several other things.
Was all that changed on purpose?

Just because it's popular doesn't give people permission to flood the RP section with Symphonia RP's.

Okay, okay, point taken, why don't you leave the new guy alone for the moment Zace? He just needs a little time and a little practice, but he won't get that if he doesn't get opportunities to write.

Besides, I don't think any RP made the players play at that time or at least I never saw any myself.

im sorry. i never played fandom vol. 2, and i didnt really understand the story of mithos so i made this rp. even though this is my first RP i should have done more research but i did not know fandom 2 was about synphonia.
but the starting story is just to get them into the world instead of just staying alive.

@Zacewing@
my spelling does suck, and i already know that i already apologised for that in my signature.

It's not only about Symphonia but about several Tales games. Tales of Phantasia and Tales of the Abyss are featured in it too.
It contains some kind of "visual novels" concerning the games and Tales of Symphonia's visual novel is around Mithos's group during the Kharlan War.
You can find it here :
http://www.youtube.com/user/AyuOhseki#p/u/12/HkBOTdI4wAY

You also have some things about mainly Yuan in ToS2 (the fact he comes from the city that became Asgard for example). But there's not much in there.

What is the strangest is that even things that are outrightly said in Tales of Symphonia are wrong like Yuan's race.
How come you decided to create a RP about a game you don't know that much? Confused

I'm not saying you shouldn't have created this, though. I just find it strange that someone would want to create a RP based on something he doesn't know really really well.
No offence intended.
And if you want help on Tales of Symphonia knowledge I can help you. Just send me a PM. ^^
