Help with the final boss *Spoilers*

The Terror of Death

So, I am stuck on Duke's 2nd form, and I don't have the Fell Arms. So no 3rd form! (Yes!) I went back to the world map to get items, and it helped, but not so much. I still can't beat him. Any suggestions?

P.S: This is NOT going to be like my post from when I was in 4th Grade.

What level are you? You shouldn't be having too much trouble, especially if you have a Specific that you can toss out to heal the party after Big Bang.

And yeah, Duke is troublesome. I think I did it by filling overlimit all the way, and using it on his 2nd form with a burst arte followed by a mystic arte, then spamming items every time we got low HP (or TP on the healers).

Still took me an afternoon, but I did do it.

I don't really remember very well though, I last played the X360 version last year >_>;;

Well I have Yuri, Estelle, Rita, and Judith in my party. It's the perfect team, I just can't get him down. Maybe if I switch Judith for someone?

And my 4th grade threads were horrible. I'm glad that you laughed.

Personally, I'd consider swapping Judith for a healer-melee hybrid, so either Raven or Karol. Of course, that'll be problematic if you haven't used either much since Love Shot only targets one person instead of three without enough uses and Karol's stamps require a lot of usage to access the better levels (in fact, I think the stamps are the only two-tiered altereds in the game). But anyway, they give you good, fairly instantaneous backup healing which can be incredibly important after a near-kill.

I find Yuri/Estelle/Rita/Raven to be the best team to fight Duke, especially his powerful Radiant Winged One form.

Then again, I was around level 80 with every arte learned for every character on my first normal playthrough.

Goddammit, my Blackberry derped and I lost my long, in-depth post.

Anyway, I'll give you some general hints-

EQUIP SPIRIT SYMBOLS. With high enough max TP, you'll practically never run out of TP.

Yuri, Estelle, Raven, and Karol is the best team when it comes to tough fights, as long as you have their healing abilities trained and Spirit Symbols equipped.

Raven's Tempest can stun Over Limited enemies and leave un-OLed enemies open to attack. I especially recommend Yuri's Severing Fang to hit them when they're being tossed around.

Turn off Raven and Estelle's melee artes, set them to heal, set Estelle to use only Nightingale and Holy Rain, and turn off all of Raven's spells except Tempest.

Have Estelle cast Revive on everyone.

Bait Duke around the field until a spell from Estelle or Raven leaves him open. Then attack. If Duke starts attacking someone else, hit him with Azure Edge/Storm repeatedly. If that doesn't distract him, combo him from behind and retreat quickly.

When Duke OLs, bait him and hopefully he'll waste his OL chasing you.

Yuri's Guardian Field is an excellent self-heal. It's also good in combos.
