New picture, yay! And it doesn't suck! (maybe I should wear hats more often...?)

I'm the one on the left by the way.

The day before yesterday we had some massive rainfall and parts of the city were flooded. These were taken right outside my house.

Yes, that is an inner tube.

Whoa, that's insane. But I'm glad everyone's having fun? (Assuming no homes got any real damage)

And I missed Ryuuko's pictures, but the view of that third one was amazing. Awesome shot!

Thanks guys! I was amazed at the view, even though it's 10 minutes from my house. It's amazing how much I took Niagara Falls for granted.

I've always wanted to see them. They look gorgeous. <3

Maybe someday!

@Misha: Sorry you couldn't make it this time. They seem to have really bad timing every year. Sad

Oh damn Drake, did it really rain that much in Winnipeg? It rained a lot here but not enough for it to flood. But my town is right next to the Qu'appelle Valley so it might have been enough for it to flood.

What's the Red River like?

fun never ends in Winnipeg, i remember the flood of '97 yup yup i am a true veteran respect your elders!! had to sandbag the school we did

Niagara Falls as in, the waterfall, is beautiful (and so is that hotel on the American side with the lights on one face that change colours but anyway) but the commercialization of the town just ruins it imo :< oh well, I still like to go there when I can. I'd still like to ride the Maiden of the Mist one day but GEEZ that lineup goes for infinity every single day

I remenber not being overly impressed by Niagara Falls and I was 13 when I visited. The commercialization you mention got on my nerve even then.

The Seneca Niagara Casino is ALL there is on the American side. The "commercialization" is Niagara Falls, Ontario. Those are two completely different places. Niagara Falls, Ontario is just a big tourist trap. Niagara Falls, NY is a ghost town with a casino that brings in business, and that's about it.

And this is more fun than the Maid of the Mist. It's upriver, but it's so much fun, and well worth the money. =P Also, I know the grandson of the man who owns the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Whirlpool Jet Boat. >_>
