Lunar Eclipse, or just Lunar, is one of the Tales Forum's administrators.

According to the Forum FAQ...
Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation which include setting permissions, banning users, creating usergroups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums.

So Lunar's job is basically to keep the forum organized. He has the ability to change around the sections, like how he made a new board for Vesperia and Dawn of the New World when they were released.

However, he does NOT have the ability to change the forum in any other way, like adding illustrations, changing the banner, etc. Only Namco has that power. I don't know why it's like that, it just is. It's probably because Namco pays for these forums and doesn't want to give away too much of it. Who knows?

And asking Namco won't really change anything. As a lot of members will tell you, people have asked them to change the banner several times before, and they haven't done so. With our luck, they'll change the banner right as it's time to make a new one. Laughing

From a more technical standpoint, Lunar is limited in power to whatever he can do in the admin CP. He doesn't have FTP access to the forums, or direct database access.

So mods to the PHPBB system itself (which requires direct modification of the PHPBB code) are out of the question, as is any modification to the skin. However, forum management (adding/deleting/moving forums, managing users, emoticons, forum permissions, groups, moderators, etc.) is possible.
