Garen seems rather bad to be honest, his ult is pretty powerful in a 1v1, but in a team fight it just seems rather worthless. 25% of people's health really isn't that much with 5 people wailing on them, and tanking carries usually aren't amazing at both.

I really enjoyed playing Tryndamere last night because 7 seconds of sitting there at 1 health while critting every hit for 500 damage, healing myself and then twirling my ass away is incredible.
