Tales of Cosplay

The title speaks for itself. I unfortunately got into the Tales fandom rather late, so when I go to conventions, I don't often see Tales cosplay. When I do though I am very happy. So if you've got a Tales cosplay, weather it be completed, in the works, or planned, I wanna hear about it!

Got questions or need tips on costume work? This is the place to ask!

If you have a completed costume, pictures would be appreciated but is not required. ^.~

My only rule I suppose is if your costume is in some way a spoiler, weather it be a character, or an item for a character, or whatever, PLEASE mark it as a spoiler. I realize with a picture that could be difficult, but do your best. I honestly don't know if this would be a problem <though I can think of an item an item Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia gets that to me would count as a spoiler so...>, but best to put the warning out there just in case.

As it stands, I myself do not have a Tales cosplay. BUT! I do have one planned. In fact, it's my next cosplay and I am PSYCHED. I'm going as Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia to Otakon 2010. Ever since playing Symphonia with a group of friends, I've wanted to cosplay from it, but at the time, they weren't really into the idea, so I never did. Then a few months ago, the topic of cosplaying Symphonia came up again, and this time, they were into it. So now for Otakon we're going to have a nice sized group for Otakon.

If we get everyone we have planned we will have:

Lloyd
Kratos
Yuan
Botta
Colette
Sheena
Zelos
Genis

There's also one more person who said they're interested in cosplaying with us, but doesn't yet have a character. All of us are greatly looking forward to it.

I'm especially looking forward to my weapon choice. Rather then doing Lloyd's standard swords I'm doing the Material Blade, my all time FAVORITE sword set he gets. <If you have not finished Symphonia and don't like spoilers DO NOT look up what the Material Blade is> I have to say the only real downside to doing this weapon is I will have to carry them all day because unlike Lloyd, I will not have sheaths of holding. But I don't care. I love these swords. ^.^

I'm hoping to get started on this costume soon because I have A LOT to do. Especially if the mother of my friend doing Botta completely decides the costume is too complex for her. I've already offered to him to take on the costume myself.

So potentially two costumes to make, PLUS a bunch of props for my costume. Yeah... I'm gonna be in costume overload, but it's all good. I'm still looking forward to it, and if my friend needs me to make his costume, gives me more practice in doing such things. ^.^
