Is there a way to choose which character receives healing when you execute it through a shortcut button?
I'm playing as Chloe and have Will's First Aid on her R2 button, but he always heals Norma, even when her HP is full and other party members are close to death :S |

I'm not sure that you can control the target through the shortcut, which is why most people just toss Norma's Revive on there and spam it instead. _________________

Legendia has never been great with the healing factor.
I remember playing; Norma and Will were the worst for healing me when I was near death. It's best to do what Lunar said and take off first aid and just let Norma use Revive. |

That is good information to share dude! Next time that I will play the game, I will rather take off first aid. But I usually use first aid to heal my character. _________________ My Medical Alert

Thanks. Yeah, first aid is suitable up until Norma learns Revive. She can just spam that since it only takes and extra 2-3 seconds for her to cast Revive and everyone will receive life. |

It's a shame revive is the best healing spell. Revitalize or Healing circle would have been nice. _________________

Revive is Revitalize. They just localized it differently for some reason. _________________

| Bwahaha I remember having trouble with the healing! It took me a while to figure it out..You should target the character like lukethebloody said..Hold down the L2 button, I think..and have the target on that person and it should heal..I'm not sure about the shortcut, but I would just open the menu and pick 'cure' and tell Will to do it on a person if someone needed it. |

Really? I'd say at least 95% of the time, Will uses Cure on me and saves me when I need it, or anyone else in the party. When Norma's there, she heals with good timing as well. Will doesn't use First Aid on me unless he's low on TP and is trying to reserve some, but if even half someone's HP is gone, he'll use Cure.
My issue with Norma's Revive is that it's basically First Aid on everyone. When I first fought Schwartz, it seemed highly recommended to spam Revive with Norma, but instead of that, I just took Will and he used Cure, while I used a Lemon Gel on someone else. That way it healed two people fully or almost fully, rather than healing everyone a little bit and leaving them still in danger of losing all their HP.
I rarely have problems with Will healing me. That tends to only happen if he's already in the midst of casting another spell and then two or more characters need to be cured. In that case, I have thirty of each gel before heading into boss battles, so I never have issues with healing anymore. Legendia wasn't really EASY without having purchased thirty items from the GRADE Shop. _________________

Cure was by far the best healing spell in the game and was the sole reason I took out Norma and Grune for Will and Shirley. Yes, you'd get them casting on the dead or both casting on one person from time to time but they'd never both cast on a dead guy or someone who didn't need it.
The fact that you got bonus grade for using cure made it all the better.
In short, I agree with SAL again. _________________ The ember is dust before the wind... |

Yes I could never manually chose a target via shortcut key casting first aid.
But then again in practically EVERY tales of game including Abyss I couldn't manually chose First Aid/Heal/Cures target.
But in Legendia most of the time the shortcut key casted First Aid only target Senel but had Cloe with the one with very low HP in the very first boss fight (Moses) and the AI for Will never healed her.
So its one of the few tales of games where I actually had to use a life bottle early on.
But at the same time Revive is learned in Legendia at the same time Nurse is in every other game at level 26. |
