~ UPDATE ~
This thread will now be an archive of sprite(sheets) from Tales of Hearts! It will be a collaborative effort among contributors who can successfully rip spritesheets!

THINGS TO NOTE
1) Only complete sheets will be archived in this post! Animations, customs, etc will not be posted unless there are exceptions. Incomplete ones that are accepted will have an incomplete tag next to it in order to show that more can be done.

2) Anyone can contribute. Download the BTL character folder here (Courtesy of RyuHiroshi). Next, you need the simple program called GGD, which can be downloaded here. Finally, follow the guide created by RyuHiroshi here.

3) To prevent waste of effort, please extract sprites for a character who isn't already being ripped. Or for that matter, be logical and don't re-rip the sprites that are already ripped.

4) The sheets listed on the archive will list the character and the person who extracted the sprites. If the character is a cameo, it will list the arte used in parenthesis.

5) Virtually anything rippable is acceptable on this archived list.

I've started a bit on ripping Peridot because I was trying to put together a nice fangame using ToH's sprites (HAHA AS IF I COULD EVER DO THAT *shot*), but... uuuuh, very time consuming. Seeing how I have like 8+ exams this months, I doubt I can get very far though... <_<

I got Ruca completely (but just as PSD right now, will do a PNG when I have time), some effects and Peridot's complete Idle, walking, running, flinch, casting and two attack sprites. But as I said, I'm busy with RL, so this'll take a while. =X

*goesback studying maths for tomorrow*

Dude you didn't tell me anything that helps me learn how to rip- Oh I get it you don't want me to steal your thunder. Well anyways, if you could give me some tips, ideas, or instructions that would be lovely. You can rip Peridot and I'll rip everyone else in ToH. Deal? : (

You already tried the old C/P right?

Slow, but works good.

The original way to rip, pause the game then Print Screen.

Paste, erase BG, etc.

Actually...I'm looking for a more effective way than that. I rather use an emulator and remove the background than that. Problem is I can't even get the emulator to work.

It works fine for me.

On Emulation Setup you have both Cartridge Backups on Auto right?

I don't see an option for "Emulation Setup". I have only the application with the folders "BATTERY" and "SLOT" created after I tried opening Hearts. And the version I'm using is the freeware 2.6

Open up the game and goto Options, then Emulation Setup.

You should see something like GBA and DS Backup Media. Set both of them to Auto, Save Options, and try restarting the game.

That should work.

Edit:

O ya, try Downloading 2.6a if you havent already
