Name: Alizée Terpsichore
Titles: None, although sometimes called Ali.

Weapon(s): Alizée possesses two duel katars concealed in her clothing. The steel blade is roughly 5 inches long, and 2 inches at its widest at the base. The side bars and grip bars are black/gold decorated with a simple flower design down its length.

Using her two scarves, she could use her wind power to manipulate them to grab, tie, and pull items or people.

Appearance: PICTURE

Alizée has long straight light brown hair tied up in a high ponytail, while her long bangs hang down to her chin. She's short and slender but highly athletic from all of her dancing, and is stronger than she appears.

She wears a thin black handband across her forehead as a decoration. She has light aquamarine eyes, and wears simple necklaces that match her outfit, one being a pearl strand and the other a thin, shorter, gold chain. She has one gold band on each arm, which are attached to her white dancing scarves.

She wears a bedlah, complete with a light green bra decorated with a pink ribbon, and light blue flowing pants with a gold trinket pattern around the belt. She has a light pink open vest with gold trim.

When she's not dancing, she usually wears a flowing coat resembling her small vest to cover her outfit.

Personality: Alizée is a sweet, bubbly, polite girl who loves dancing and is very energetic. She is often seen as airheaded, and absent-minded, forgetting tasks and always off doing her own thing. She's curious, and loves traveling around with her entertainment troupe. Despite being a wonderful dancer with exceptional spacial orientation, she couldn't navigate her way out of a paper bag.

She has a care-free attitude, often going with the flow, and hard to anger. She enjoys goofing off, and is rarely serious unless it comes to dancing, and food. She loves trying various foods, her favourite anything hot and spicy - the spicier the better. She could probably handle spicy foods better than most people at this point.

In combat she doesn't fight back unless she's cornered. Although she finds great joy in dodging incoming attacks, and overall being a pain. She usually tries to knock the person out, then hightail it out of there.

History: Alizée was born into a simple family that lived by traveling and performing from city to city. They also offered performances on various military ships during long journeys to keep sailors, soldiers, etc, entertained. Since they never had a permanent home, she was constantly on the move.

The Terpsichore Troupe is a popular group specializing in dancing but with other entertainment like sword swallowing, fire-eating, knife-throwing and other dangerous feats. It started small, but as it became popular its size increased. Anyone joining immediately becomes part of the family - blood-related or not, and adopts the last name Terpsichore (whether that's a real surname or not is unknown.)

Her mother was a talented dancer while her father was a knife thrower, and she slowly acquired both skills but leaning towards the former. She also learned various acrobat skills - flips, handsprings, and other gymnastic skills. Due to the close-knit group and carefree attitude, she picked up the same easygoing personality and experienced few hardships besides intense training. Until one incident:

When she was 8, their carriages (approximately 4) were attacked in a midnight raid on their way to Izoola. Although some of the members had some fighting skills, many lives were lost on both sides. Alizée survived by hiding under one of the carriages. Roughly 10 of the original 30 members were killed, fortunately both her parents survived, although she lost valuable friends and mentors.

Shaken up by such an attack, Terpsichore Troupe was discontinued while the surviving members settled in Izoola to decide their next course of action. Some wanted to stay, others wanted to leave and mourn their loved ones. Her father decided it was necessary to teach everyone basic defence, including magic. Although a few of the members were seers, they mostly used the magic to help their performance. Luckily a wealthy family in Ethias who had connections, and always loved their Troupe, decided to aid them, after hearing the devastating attack.

At age 10, Alizée was sent to Ralladin to be taught magic after learning she had a affinity to wind. The remaining troupe members settled here and performed for the busy researchers who needed a break. She also learned how to use katars since she preferred to hold a knife instead of throwing it. However she managed to balance her magic lessons with dancing and knife fighting, although she missed the simple carefree days. She often rebelled, sneaking off and sometimes threatened to quit when she felt the pressure was too much. Her parents managed to afford her education from the money received during their performances. She also managed to merge both wind magic and dancing together, dancing into a beautiful trance-like state while keeping calm to use her Glyphs.

Right now she travels with a small group carrying the Terpsichore Troupe name, mostly performing small dance routines in the marketplace or other popular squares.

Magical skills: (Mage level) Alizée is at a comfortable mage level. She can manipulate air currents and air pockets to help make her scarves 'dance' in various patterns. She also uses currents to help boost her jumping, running, and acrobatic ability. When needed she could create a miniature windstorm while running to distract or trip opponents, or a strong microburst to knock people over. She can also use air molecules to detect movement nearby although she'd have to be alert to notice.

Combat style: Alizée uses her scarfs and wind glyphs to manipulate them into grabbing, tying, and pulling another person or item. She often uses them to grab something out of reach (i.e. weapon), hold an arm back, or trip someone.

When cornered, she'd take out her katars and is able to fight in a dancelike and graceful acrobatic style with fast speed and agility. She treats the katars like an extension of her arm to cut and stab. With her wind magic, she's able to run up walls for a few seconds longer, do impossible jumps, and overall be a pain to hit. She's better on one on one, but is able to dodge multiple opponents although she'd focus more on defence than offense in this case.
