Ok so at ToysRus I often get customers who come up to me and say something like "WOW THE COOL STUFF THAT KIDS GET TO PLAY WITH TODAY!! IT'S MINDBOGGLING! WE HAD NOTHING LIKE THAT WHEN I WAS A KID!!!"

So I'm curious to see what kinds of toys you guys had as kids, and which you found incredibly cool.

As for me, aside from the numerous Power Rangers and Voltron zords/robots I had, I was especially proud of my Radio DJ:

This **** was so cool, it was basically a little toy that let you broadcast yourself over an AM station, and you could put tapes in and play them, as well as having an AUX in port for CD/MP3 players. It also had audio effects that made broadcasting even more fun.
Every time my friends came over, they were like "CMON MIKE LET'S GO DO OUR OWN SHOW OUR LISTENERS ARE WAITING!!!!".

So Tales Forumers, how about you? Also, obligatory HASBRO'S BEST THING EVER!!!!!

I had a bunch of stuffed tigers and just made up games, I guess. Perhaps I was a lonely kid.

They're rotting up in my attic now.

Gosh darn it, you're all copying my childhood with Power Rangers and Legos...

I know I always loved my big wheel. Driving down the driveway, lookin' for adventure and all that nonsense. I remember mine was black and X-TREME. Seriously, I'm almost positive it said "X-TREME" somewhere on it.

Lego was a big part of my childhood. Along with any sort of action figure that I recieved- I created most of it with my mind. I also had a little mini ride-on fire-engine, and a few other things that I can't quite remember...

I liked Legos and Hot Wheels, and I liked sports so I would go outside and play basketball (mostly basketball).

...nothing too amazing, tbh. I grew up kinda poor, and the coolest toy I had was some computer that taught me how to spell words when I was four. That sucked my life away, because it was one of the few electronic things we ever had.

I loved my WWE big wheel and my battery car I could drive. That car still almost fits me I have not gotten so big.

I barely played with toys when I was a kid. =(
Though I do remember having a Zurg and a Buzz Lightyear action figure. <3

Bionicles (all but the ice one, which just freakin happens to be my favorite one ;_; )
Mega Zords (lots of them god I am a tool for those things)
Legos
A couple of Digimon Action figures (transformable, gabumon into weregarurumon and kabuterimon into mega kabuterimon)

And that is it I think.

Scarily enough I still have all my bionicles in storage, including the ice one XD

Fire was always my fave though.

My sister and I had tons of playmobile and we'd tell really elaborate stories (there was an evil queen and the kids had to escape and they went on the road with just their puppies and they would have to bring enough plastic food to survive! could they make it?) with them. We also did the same things with barbies and lego and cars (we gave the cars genders, I was always the cool black one who was the batgirl car...don't ask) and action figures (somehow action figure mulan always ended up dating bruce wayne...). We were very creative kids.

Other than that we had this really cool guitar/piano that you could hold up with a microphone attached and another little mic and amp and we loved singing into them?
