I'm kinda new to the game but i have to say i prefer the swordsman the best mostly cus i just started a few days ago and I'm really used to using him. He's lvl 50.

What class would be the most challenging and fun to play with? A class that would have be played really differently in order to be successful. I am thinking a mage would be good for this. I ordered this game recently and am looking forward to trying it out.

I think the fighter is the best.Lets face it,who doesnt like a Wyrm crush-Talon blast-Avalanche drop combo?Get him to level 48 and he can throw every enemy in the game.And his Mystic Arte does 20000 damage plus.Im around level 178 and I beaten all trial battles easily.I beat Reid and chester in like 30 seconds on normal mode.Even hard mode is easy.

I think so far i prfer thief the 6-hit dagger really hits hard not much potential when it comes to getting ganged but thief is probably the most reliable when it comes to 1 vs 1
Just spam the normal attack on a tales character and they be down if they did not pull up a quick arte

My 2nd is ninja the cyclone seal is a powerful arte
When it comes to large/flying monsters Crow Blade/Blazing Crow will give them 2 painful hits most of the time
For most i will use Thrashing devil then cyclone seal & an arte which uses fury blast

My 3rd is fighter cause it is fast too but the arte accuracy isn't that good
But throwing is quite using especially landslide since you can use the monster to hit anyone

My 4th&5th should probably be Swordsman cause sword rain always look deadly but since he doesn't use guard dodge it gotta suk on tales 1 vs 2
Magic knight is also the same with elemental melee artes but the Magic cast time suks while the tales/radiants have faster casting time

Thats right i like fast hits fast strikes

My best is the swordsman cuz he combos really great
3 hits -> sword rain alpha -> rending tiger blade -> dark blade
tat combo can do a whopping 30k dmg
Second is my ninja still low lv though but its really fun to use him

Personally, I like the theif class as the 5 hit basic attack combo is more hits than most have, the ability to bomb my opponents is amazingly useful and diving dragon is fun. That and when I tried swordsman the sword was too long for my liking.

It originally was my LVL 250 female MK especially when playing on Very Hard but decided to switch it up and use my LVL 200 Hunter.I love Nanlys weapon from TOD2 which is Edens Flare

honestly, I only chose fighter coz it's of it's sense of symmetry (dunno why i like balanced and equal equips so much) And I started to love it because of all those hits and the damage he can do is just so awesome zam!

aaa yes...You just gotta love those combos.

Even thought I think that the Fighter class is too awesome to use, thanks to the many hits that you can get from some artes and the ability to throw your opponent from a knockdown, + other cool features...

I prefer to use the Warrior, because it does the most damage in the game according to their skills and weapons (IMO) and since it was one of the available classes in the game and I tend to just stick with and master one class, then to go from one to another in 1 playthrough!Oh well, that's just me!

BTW, Senel puts the COOL in Coolidge! (I wonder if someone else has said this? I should use this as my signiture!)
