Item help, please

I'm trying to complete the Collector's Book, but I'm having trouble find the Mirage Cloak. Now, according to the faqs of gamefaqs, it's suppose to be available to purchase in Daath right after visting the Zao Ruins twice. I even looked at the Japanese faq too. Said the same thing. I can't seem to find the damn cloak in the shops (yes, I've checked with the guy hiding behind the innkeeper too.) Now unless they changed the name or something...The Mirage Cloak slot comes right after the Mage Cloak in the list in the book.

Please help! I'm not going to advance in the story until I get this damn stupid cloak! This is my third run and I just finish Zao Ruins for the second time. And if it helps, my nephew started me off with his new game plus data, so yes data was transferred from card to card and PS3 to card (vice visa).

Well, Mirage Cloak has the same name in both versions and can be bought in the shop Sempre (aka the main Weapon/Armor store in Daath) so the only thing I can think you are doing wrong is you thought you visited twice but didn't,the second time you visit the Zao Ruins is when you battle the Tyranopion

Chesedonia is safely in the Qliphoth, so I've beaten the Tyranopion, and I'm currently outside of Daath to talk to Ion.

There is a Mirage Cloak how else would I have it and it being in the Collectors Book.

Some of the guides don't cover the Mirage Cloak that's why. I looked at the Items guide, but I'm still not seeing the Mirage Cloak.

Do you think it might be something with the saved data being transfers from card to card and PS3 to card? I already finished the game 2 times, in addition to the two stars that were given to me when my nephew gave me his new game plus data.

Well, you are aware that some of the shops only sell items for a limited time and most shops significantly changes after falling. I haven't played in a while but, do you face the Tyranopion before the fall or after?

Nevermind, I found it. They should really tell you that after you've spoken to Ion after Zao Ruins 2x, then go buy it, instead of just "after Chesedonia falls." Thanks for all the help! <3
