It was Lake Sinoa in the English ToS. Chnoir Lake or however it was spelled was the Japanese name. |

I find complaining about a superficial name change to aid in pronunciation pretty darned unnecessary. <_<

Seriously though, if it's the pronounciation that bugged them, why not change it from Chnoir to Choir? Or Chinoir? Sinoa is... Well, it's a pretty big stretch. Even more so than Refill -> Raine.

Raine sounds fine, and from what I've heard all the new character's dub voices fit them perfectly. Lloyd's voice does bug me, they could've found someone better. But what do you expect? He voiced Lloyd in TOW:RM and SCL, so of course he's going to come back for TOS2.

And its not that I want scott back, I just want a decent voice actor, and yeah he does sound like japanese Lloyd, whom also sounds horrible. I have no obession with Robin!Lloyd...I was DRUNK being egged on by my friend sophie after watching the dark knight when I drew that thing o_O
Playing Symphonia during the day + Batman in the evening + Drinks afterwards = ?

No. He's terrible. And shouldn't even BE voice acting anyone. Until they change it, I refuse to accept HIM as Lloyd. I don't even want Scott back, I just want a decent voice actor for my favorite tales character. That is all. I will cease to stop harping on about it unless it happens,(Skip my posts if it makes you feel better about it) Raine's replacement, is fine, she sounds midway like the original, and she can act, that is all I ask from a decent replacement.
I don't know what tone deaf voice director they have at Namco but jeeez. Either Brian Beacock is the head of Namco's illigitamate offspring, or he's married to the sound director, because I wouldn't hire him to read fairy tales to small children on public access television. |

I just literally ran into my room and turned on my Wii to check. An NPC in rebuilt Luin (a brown haired man facing the item shop) says, "Sinoa Lake will continue to grant us its blessing," if you talk to him twice. It's an arbitrary, easily missable line of text to be sure, but it still doesn't change that it was translated that way. :P The only reason I stumbled upon it was by accident. |

He sounds terrible as LLOYD. Kamina is an over the top spaz. For him he's perfect.
