I don't mean this in a bad way, because they are nice but...
If I have to be honest..
These 2 banners were my least favourite.
People sure have different tastes
Anyway~
Being a Graphic artist I should focus more to decided my vote.
Kuro;
Yours is quite nice, I like the theme you've put into it, BUT
it reminds me more of something you'd have in your signature.
Not a website banner.
It's also tad monochrome and colourless.
Lunar;
I like this one because it's has alpha in it.
So it's not just a block rectangle.
It's not over crowded and has quite nice image quality.
I really love the background to this.
I am actually really shocked these are the final two!
O.o
Anyway, Lunar gets my vote.

Pray tell, how does being a graphic artist influence your vote at all?
I voted Kuroda because Lunar's probably going to win anyway. I can't even see Kuroda's but I feel better about it :)

Because I don't just look at a signature/banner and think "OOOO PRETTY COLOURS!! I'll vote for it!"
Since these banners were made by graphic designers, and said banners are what you would call "graphic design", I'd think knowing about graphic design would help alot more than your vote simply because you can't see flaws in it.
It's best not to engage in conversations that you don't know the meaning of.

Conversations I don't know the meaning of? Get off your high horse, seriously. I don't see why you need to act all high and mighty just because you analyze some banner. Ooh, big deal. I'm also pretty sure that not every banner was made by active members in the Avs and Sigs forum.
I'm not the one who doesn't know what I'm talking about. <_<

Assumptions assumptions ASS-umptions.
I'm not acting high and mighty because I analyzed a banner, you just didn't like the way I did my critique and 'analysis' (lolwut?) so are therefore making a big argument about it.

No your quite wrong, when all entries were in round one, I'm sure all except Lunar was from the graphics club.
But I suppose you wouldn't know, you don't go in that part of the forum.

So you're saying you need to be majored on something to be able to have an actual opinion on it? I don't see how someone who doesn't have photoshop skills has a worse vote/opinion on those banners.

For the record, I visit the Avatar and Signatures section pretty often, and make works a lot. You'd know if you bothered to read.

If theres anything immature it's other people getting involved and just making the situation worse.
