And Flare, the audition's good, but I think you're a little too close to your microphone. Wanna try to read it again for me so that it doesn't puff so much?
Argh, not having a mic right now sucks so bad. Thank God Florian doesn't come in for quite a while xD

Oh? Well I'm sorry I didn't satisfy your requirements. Don't worry, no feelings were hurt. I don't even know what all that stuff means. Guess you could say I'm not a good VA, since I don't know what that stuff means..

No, it's not that you're a bad VA. Your equipment is what's holding you back. I don't have anything decent installed on this system yet, otherwise I would help you. Sorry if I'm talking over your head, I work with sound equipment just about every day of the week, so it's a force of habit. And hide my comments? I'm confused, I don't get what that means x_x
Waaaaaah, I'm not creepy, I swear. I'm just really excited about all of this. Blaaaah. ._.

Yeah, I figured as much. I should probably get a voice acting mic.
Oh, and the hiding comments things was from when I say your reply, but when I clicked on quote, it showed me more stuff, so it looked like you were trying to hide some comments about my voice, in order to avoid hurting any feelings. I realize that's not the case, though. No hard feelings?

Oh, of course not! I didn't think there were any hard feelings in the first place. And to be fair, for the longest time I was using a headset mic and managed to make it sound decent until it finally started to die on me. But yeah, if you want to get into it, getting a new mic works, even something low-grade that can be tweaked as a temporary fix. I wouldn't invest in an expensive condenser mic until you know for certain you're going to get your full use out of it, since most go at about the $60-160 range, not including cords and whatnot.
I'm actually getting one for my birthday, so I'm excited! By the end of the month, I'll have my new mic, yay! <333

Got'cha. Though, my mic is pretty good, for a non-voice acting one. I think it's also because of the transition from my parent's desktop, to my own laptop. I've noticed that my old recordings from the desktop, sound better than my more recent ones on my new laptop. If you could explain to me how to make my recordings sound perfect, using Audacity, since I have it too, that would be great. I do have a converter, that can make audio sound CD quality, but I'm sure that's not enough.
Anywho, have I scored the role of Liane, or are you still deciding?
