| yeah i used a cheat to make it so all random battles are Neblim and used the code after beating Neblim storywise, next playthrough il beat her legit just that i couldnt this time since Luke was not able hurt her with normal weapons. |

You might wanna ask BadRock. He may remember. I know for certain that we had Luke with a Faerie Ring and Natalia with a Sapphire Ring. I'm not sure what Tear or Jade was wearing.

Accessories for the nebilim fight:
Natalia: Faerie Ring - I find Natalia burns through TP like nobody's business, and I can't always be there to give her a gel.
Luke: Effecti Ring or Reflect Ring - take some of the sting out of things hitting him.
Guy: Persian boots. Wheeeee! (If you really don't need these, or don't have them, an attack ring or knight symbol could be good.)
Tear: Tear's Pendant (Alternatively, a Mystic Symbol)
Jade: Fonic Mark for more oomph, or Spirit Symbol to keep him going longer. Mystic Symbol isn't bad if you're playing as him.
Anise: Ant Lion Doll if you have it. Sometimes Rare Genius. Otherwise, Warrior Maiden? |

hey PrismSwordsman why do u equip Luke with a Faerie Ring?? Shouldn't it be better with Tear or someone else?
didn't know whether to equip Luke with an effecti ring cos i don't know whether World Charm or Effecti ring reduces more damage..

World Charm: Sometimes prevents status effects, Defense +50, F.Defense +50
Effecti Ring: Reduces all damage 15%.
I think Effecti Ring is just a teensy bit better.

I save all of my Pineapple Gels/Orange Gels for Tear or Natalia. I give it to Luke because he's up there distracting Nebilim and I can't afford him to stop and take a Gel. Nor can I sit there and keep hitting her 7 times just to restore it. On unknown that is really unwise. In this battle, your gonna earn at least 200 grade or more so using items isn't a big issue with me. And yeah, I do give Tear her pendant now because it is REALLY good. Raising his defense is good, but her P Attack is like 5000. It still won't matter if you reduce it by 10% or even 15%. I'd probably give the effecti ring to Jade because his P Defense isn't that great. But I usually have him with Dice or Sephira/Blue Sephira. Not to mention with the proper skill you can dodge her attacks fairly well. If you have glory, it's even easier.

Hey prism, you ever want to try my stratagy where you dont use items by making jade and tear keep switching between the accesory that periodically restores 3% TP and have other one wear faerie ring? So far i have tried doing it like this, But i always end up dieing when Neblim is like at half health because if i mess up a single thing im finished(even though i keep switching characters). Beating Neblim without the catalyst weapons is soo much harder than with the catalyst lol. With catalyst its a 20-30 minute fight. While without catalyst on unknown id imagine it would take almost like 2:30h to beat.
I think im a try your stratagy where Luke has a faerie ring on him since he gets to zero pretty quickly. Btw when do you make Natalia(my case Guy) use her overlimit? Ive always just made her use it instantly when its full but im starting to think its best to save it and than go to overlimit mode beside neblim right when i hear neblim doing the Meteor storm incantation. |

Umm, I personally let certain characters use their Overlimit whenever they want. When Nebilim is about to use Meteor Storm, I (personally) use overlimit to stop her. Yes, as we said before, the fight when done legitimately takes about 2.5 hours. Also, why do you have Guy? No offense but Guy is dead weight in this battle(unless you prefer him to Luke and made him hold Tutti). I have BOTH healers and Jade, because you NEED them. I have given a strategy to beat her on the first page of this topic. You need Natalia for Revive and Cure. And also, using items is a necessity. You CANNOT get around it.

He used a cheat to activate the weapons before they are supposed to. >_>

no, i know what im talking about, i posted this already but the reason i was able to use the catalyst weapons on neblim is because i got an AR and i used a code to make all random battles Neblim after i beat the Neblim quest. Understand now?
