It's only a temp for now. But if he's sending PMs on temp ban, that means he's by-passing his ban. Meaning, that'll take him to a permanent ban...

I doubt it. It would have to take a pretty big slip-up from the mods to forget to set the ban on him, and if that was so he would have probably made the mistake known by now. The only way to send PMs while banned is to make an alt and use the alt to do it, the account itself is unusable.
More likely this is an alt of his, claiming that he recieved PMs as a rather weak cover story.
However, I would like to see screenshots of these PMs so that the date they were sent may be compared to when the ban went into effect. |

We always temp before perma-banning now because people complained that warnings weren't a sufficient, uh, warning.

I'd assume he was banned before or on Feb. 21st? The time of the creation of the obvious alt? Or do we not have the vaunted "evidence" that you're so selectively fond of?

I'm really confused either by you or by this topic ...
I reviewed the logs of people who've joined in the past few days, and no one is an obvious alt as far as I've seen. Or ... maybe you're talking about the account that created this topic? I can see where you might be coming from there since, now that I look back at the first post, he might have meant a derogatory "PMS" instead of "PMs". <___<;;;

Course, is there any evidence against that this is a possible alt to get attention and find out what we think of him?!??!?! lol
As for the pms thing, if they do mean PMs, then they should specify the content and show the date of which they were sent

Er.
Doesn't it raise questions to the mods that this topic is titled exactly the same as a topic in the mod forum, which is one of six identical topics which only stayed for about a minute while I deleted five, sent one over to the mod forum, and banned the poster?
