Here is a little game that I have played on other forums. The game is easy. All you say is something like this.
You know you are a "Tales of" Fan when...You've leaned quite a few words in Japanese just by watching the "Tales" Animes.
You know you are a "Tales of" Fan when...You can sing the opening songs to almost all the "Tales of" games.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when...You and your friends named each other after the "Tales of" characters that you and they are most like.
You know you are a "Tales of Fan" when...Your parents buy you the "Tales of the Abyss" Drama CD's for Christmas, your Birthday, and Easter.
Ect...
Rule
They must be true facts about yourself and/or your friends.

You know you are a "Tales of Fan" when...you name characters in other RPGs after "Tales of" characters (lost count of the number of times I did this with the Destiny cast)
You know you are a "Tales of Fan" when...you play at least one of the games more than ten times.
You know you are a "Tales of Fan" when...you spend time trying to figure out what songs remind you of which couples/teams of fighters/best friends/family/ect.

You know you're a Tales of fan when...every song you hear you somehow have to see how that connects to a Tales character,and if it doesn't,you kinda just forget about it.
You know you're a Tales of fan when...everytime you hear the words sink/sync,genus,ion,and the names Lloyd, Colette, Sheena, Chester, Natalia, Luke, Chloe, Norma, Shirly, Asch, Arietta and others you freak out and get disappointed when you find out people aren't talking about a Tales game.

You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... you have a whole shelf or more dedicated to all of your "Tales" posessions. Extra points if one shelf is filled and the next one is quickly filling up too.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... You can't believe how closed-off your friends have to be to not know who Cam Clarke or Shiloh Strong are.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... you start shouting "Yahoo!" or calling all of your friends your "hunnies" regardless of gender.
You know are are a "Tales of" fan when... You color at least four or more pictures from one of the mangas.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... You replace the textures in ROMs with pictures of your favorite characters.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... You work on imitating one of your favorite character's voices and refuse to speak until you have it perfect.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... You name your new pets after one of the characters and take much delight in calling out their name.
You know you are a "Tales of" fan when... You give your MMO character the same last name as one of your favorite characters.
Okay, I'm all out. ... And yes, I'm guilty of all that I just stated. My top shelf is full of Tales stuff; I get frustrated when people have no clue who Cam Clarke is; I refer to all my friends as my hunnies; I've colored a few pictures from the Symphonia manga; Kratos is pasted over Link's shield in Zelda64; I didn't speak to anyone until I had a good Mithos imitation; I'm naming my two new kittens "Kratos" and "Lloyd"; I named my MMO character Kyasarin Aurion.
... Shut up. x_x

you know your a taales fan when you use normas nickneames in tales of legendia to real people(so far i got c,teach, jj and red))
when you start saying all the spell names or casting words of the characters
if you copy their after battle or during battle quotes(curse your own ill fate~chloe)

You know you are a "Tales of" Fan when you're thinking seriously of one day naming your children after characters -- to the extent that you discuss them as potential names with the person who will be the other half of producing those children. (Well, some of them are perfectly good names!  ) |

- You cosplay as your favourite Tales characters.
- You can sing the Grand Fonic Hymn.
- The paper on which you've been writing your schoolwork eventually just turns into a random collection of sketches of various Tales characters after a few minutes.
- Your friends call you 'Lloyd'.
- You can sing the entirety of 'karma'.
- You used white acrylic paint to paint the words 'REVENGE JOURNAL' on the front of your sketchbook in art class.
- You cannot hear words such as "washtub", "hot/iced coffee", "melons", "tomato", "shrimp" (Legendia joke), "replica", "logic", "stupid", "genes", "dreck" or even "item", or any name that happens to belong to a Tales character, without laughing.
- Your conversations with friends are full of weird Tales-related in-jokes.
- Your playlist has a bunch of Tales music on it.
- There is a myriad of songs that remind you of Tales games or characters.
- You have woken up in the morning with the music that plays after you sleep in an inn in Tales of Phantasia playing in your head. (Not the actual 'sleeping-in-an-inn' melody -- I mean the one when you 'wake up' that stops playing when you exit the inn.)
- You sometimes hear certain Tales background music playing in your head when you're in a particular place. (For example, whenever I walk through a wet wooded area, I pretty much invariably have Forest of the Treant in my head. Yes, I know.)
I'm guilty of all of these. <___<
EDIT: Added some words that I'd forgotten about to the second-to-last item. Also added some more items. I'm such a geek. ;_;

You know you are a Tales fan when.... no matter who says them to you, words like dreck and replica (and logic and stupid) are voiced over in your head. (and usually cause fits of ncontrollable giggles)
You know you are a Tales fan when.... your best friend who is also a red head (only with short hair) has become your replica
You know you are a Tales fan when.... you plan to run a pharmacy one day with above-mentionned replica with Asch as a pharmacy tech (well - while this may not be possible - a series of comics/flash animations exist on the subject)

YES!!!!!
You know you are a Tales fan when:
- you start to actually fight and look at how the characters move when they fight, down to the step and the arm movement.
- you buy a kendama and try to cast magic spells while doing it, which is REALLY hard
- you almost all of your iTunes library is Tales of... series songs, and you can identify which game, which events, and the name of it, and hum/sing along to EVERY SINGLE ONE
- you make a band of the Tales characters and give them instruments that would match their personality
Current list of ones that fit personalities for sure:
Shihna- Violin
Lloyd- Ocarina
Presea- Flute
Natalia and Tear- Vocal (ok, so its not an instrument)
Reala- Harp
Dike (Dirk)- Banjo
Luke- Sax
Zelos- Some type of guitar

Someone evidently hasn't played Xenosaga episode 2 or 3 and heard the wonder of Yuki Kajiura's music. Yes, the vocals are indeed an instrument in those pieces, and usually the lyrics are not meant to make sense, they are meant to add to the music and make it prettier.
But anyway, on topic
You know you are a Tales fan when
you are making or have made a plushie of your favorite character, just cause you want to be able to hug him/her
You own at least one doujinshi for your favorite game/character/pairing
You have at least 100 pieces of fanart of your favorite characters saved and had to organize your pictures folder so you can actually find things in it!
you have bought at least one new console to play a Tales game
you have bought books to learn japanese so you can better read Tales manga/doujinshi or play japanese only Tales games
and of course you have written at least one fanfic or drawn one piece of fanart
And yes, I am indeed guilty of each of these, to usually a larger degree than I stated

I've done most of what was mentioned in the first post. ^^ I'm Tear in my group! ( though we act nothing alike... ;-; Sometimes I'm Arietta, I'm more like her minus the revenge-addict. )

- When you print out pictures of your favourite Tales characters and show all your friends.
- Listen to nothing but Tales music for hours on end.
- Annoy everyone with in-game jokes that they don't understand because they don't play. ( Some of my friends do play... most of them don't. Dx )
- Suddenly decide that the names Luke and Lloyd are alot more interesting then before.
- Start laughing in the middle of Science class whenever the subject of Ions are brought up.
- Truly believe that everything scientifically proven is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo and the world is really made up of fonons/mana. ( Just you wait and see! >_> )
- Want to watch the Lion King II just to hear Cam Clarke sing. ( SRSLY. IT'LL BE SO FUNNY. KRATOS SINGING. xD )
- Takes up the religion of Lorelei/Martel/others.
