Yeah I realized that. Oh well. I guess you just have to keep Luke at level 2 until you finally recruit Asch with the Map Trick to be able to build him fully with C-Cores.

EDIT: CONFIRMED!! It does work!! I have Mieu and Asch!!! Alright, so as long as Asch is recruited from Mushroom Road AFTER Asch joins in Baticul (for like two minutes), yet BEFORE the 2nd visit to the Tower of Rem, you'll keep Asch, and you'll get Mieu again later when you go to Baticul Castle once you have the Jewel of Lorelei.
It's interesting actually...Asch can be the on-screen character and still use Mieu without any glitches/crashes. Although, he makes absolutely no gestures with him; for instance, Asch just floats upwards without hanging onto Mieu when using the Mieu Wing.
There you have it, the Nebilim sidequest CAN be completed with Asch. Unfortunately though, the arena is still sealed off with Asch in the group. Now if only someone could hack a CB/GS code for all 7 characters to be in the party at once... |
Awww... no arena... What to do... I want to have all mystic Artes avalible for the team when I fight the group but, you need to beat Sync in Elderant to get the Jewel of Gailardios....
I'll just get Asch on this file but, save on another file w/ Luke to get the Jewel & Key then save that to my Arena file.
The Asch file is what I'll compleat the game this playthrough w/

nope, you can get it right after you enter Eldrant, same thing with Peony's formal costumes. (meaning you see the cutscenes, the Aibore lands, you find Ginji half-dead again. Then those events will be avaliable)

Actually, I've been doing more testing, and I found that the cut-off point for Asch and Mieu is a little bit later even. So long as it's before going through the events in Baticul Castle/Yulia City after you've obtained Lorelei's Jewel, you'll get Mieu again with Asch in the party.

Honestly... this is a big thing, your suppposed to tell us this stuff!
Anyways I decided repeating 3 dungeons isn't worth getting a mystic arte I almost never use... I'll just do the arena fight after Kiser Dist XX.
My characters are already 13 and I made the Elven Bow, four Mystic Symbols, have the arena weapons and nearly everymove has a Lv 6 FSC. I'll just make a Reflect and Sol Gaurd plus level up about 10 levels then I'll be ready to pwn them on mania.
After I finish the Luke's FSC leveling he's gonna eat dirt for a while...

I decided to try this out since I wanted to fight Nebilim with Asch. He is able to use Mieu, but now the problem is I can't trigger the scene in Daath in order to get the Heart of Chaos from Florian. After clearing the Radiation Gate, I tried going back to Daath as Luke, and I was able to get the Heart of Chaos...
I even tried to go back to Daath after seeing the final scene in Eldrant, and still nothing happened...
