Another one is setting who is in the group. (Ever wanna switch a different character to have Kratos and Zelos? I found codes for that, but sadly, they're not for JP or US versions. IT(Italian) and UK are a given, since that's what the poster of the code had said, but I believe it'd work on German too. (In other words, PAL versions) This comes as a great disappointment, seeing as Kratos and Zelos are usually the favorites of the fans. Having them both in the party is always that one-time thing at the human ranch. u_u

OMG! I have the PAL version! If I had Action Replay, I could try that out! O__O
*nosebleeds at the thought*
But eh... What happens at the important scenes then? I mean, for example, if you set Kratos instead of Presea, does that mean Kratos takes Presea's place in the cutscenes and says Presea's lines in Presea's voice? XD

If you can make a "Play as Yuan" or "Play as Mithos" code, that would be AWESOME.

Too bad codes like that don't exist yet. V_V
You know, those Pronyma/Forcystus pics would've looked awesome without Zelos. XD
Couldn't you have set Forcystus as Playable character, and Pronyma as NPC?
I think I'll look for this Action Replay device, and buy it when I see it. Because... Damn... I got so many crazy ideas now... *_* _________________ "TEACH ME ABOUT BAZONGAS!!!"

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm using an AR. o_o; Well, not anymore since I have a savestate inside that field and I no longer need to warp there...

No, no, I doubt that would happen. The characer NPCs are programmed (Although there's a PC and NPC section on the menu, all PCs are also in the NPC section for cutscenes) to appear like "246". I suppose if one could re-program the character models to switch Yuan and Pronyma's numbers, Pronyma could appear instead of Yuan in all his cutscenes. O_o; But I don't know how to do that.
So the result would probably be all cutscenes staying the same. Like even if you lost Zelos and hacked him back into the party, Kratos would be the one in the scenes anyway. (Hehe.. That'd be just fine with me :3) But I admit that it'd be funny if it turned out that way.

It would have been even harder to take the picture if I did that. Since the stand-still models are in a straight line and have hardly any distance between them (As shown in the insane Yuan video, since he can't run between them), it's relatively easy to get the hearts on both characters at the same time. (Though you have to time when they appear and disappear) Having to run from the PC-changing Katz all the way to the stand-still and HOPE that the hearts last is nearly impossible. The hearts just don't last as long as it needs.
And when you get the AR, I'll give you the codes for the character slots. :) Just promise to take a picture of a fight with Kratos and Zelos in it for me.

Although I'm constantly around computers and stuff of that sort, I have no idea what that is. o_o; (Yes, it's like I know what I'm doing, at yet at the same time have no idea.) >_>; So.. mind filling me in? _________________

Must . . .have . . .debug code . . .
Seriously, though. I don't need anything too fancy. Just how to get there. I'm going to try a couple of things to see if I can get some good screenshots out of it. _________________

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have an AR already. Just give me the darned code XD
I went to a Best Buy yesterday looking to buy one. It turns out the one they had that would work is a cable you buy to connect to your TV set. If not for it being too long (10 feet) AND being half a Benjamin $50 USD) I'd have bought it on the spot. Then again, a Comp USA or Micro Center would be better equipped and likely more affordable.
When my uncle returns to from Atlanta I'll be sure to ask him to buy me one XD _________________ The Stuff of Legends XD

Ow. >.o; I can hear my wallet whimpering already. I asked my dad about it, and he said he had another solution to play the video and audio from the gamecube to the computer instead, so I could just take screenshots that way. And he already has the software for that, so I'll just go with that comfy little way. X3
Alright, alright. I'll stop stalling as soon as I'm done with the small pile of work that's built up in... one day. o_o; (I get way too much mail these days.. plus other stuff.) I'll jot the code down when I'm down and post it up along with the sound test code and the incomplete mapping. Get ready to wait about four more hours while I get all that stuff ready. _________________

Sorry for the double post, but this is REALLY friggin' long, so it kind of needs another one. o_o; Remember, I typed this up as quickly as I could, so there's probably spelling mistakes everywhere, and I probably missed a bunch of stuff, but bare with me.
-----
Okay, this starts simply with the code itself to get there. I'll include a short explanation of what's there afterwards. Although I'm surprised it has such a short code since it does so much.
RFC5-5E97-4MK8U
0HHN-RVA3-CGGJ2
5RNB-EABT-9RX9B
Now, simply put, to put this thing to work, turn it on (obviously) and load up any game. (even a new game will work.) When you can control the character, all you have to do is simply press the Z button, and you'll be warped off to the test field. The safest way to use this is the be in the entrance to an area. (Greatest place would be after entering Dirk's house. Make sure not to move from the entrance)
The camera will be zoomed away like a normal town, and the landscape will be pretty simple. It has a few objects (a rock and walls that include plants along them, and a beach. Most likely to test the "level bounds" walls.)
Every NPC in this area is a Katz. The pink Katz are the ones you'll mainly have to worry about. We'll start by going to the Katz on the far right near the water so we're in a more comfortable camera setting. When you talk to that Katz (Now known as the Nothern Katz), the camera angle will change to a closer view. (About how close you get in houses and hotels) Cancel the talking to that Katz for a moment so we can go in order for what each Katz does.
---
Eastern Katz (The first one you saw when you warped)
It's menu holds the options of:
Title
-Aquire a title
-Forget a title
Techniques
Cooking
-Aquire recipe
-Raise recipe level
-Forget recipe
Weapon Test
The "title" option is simple enough, and has no lockups as far as I can see. When you choose either option, you'll be able to go through the PC's (Play characters) and choose one for the title sections. (For example, choose Kratos and you can either have him quire or forget the title "Tetra Slash")
The "technique" option is red both on this map and the game. When you choose it, the text bubble's color will be tan, and the text will change color rapidly (Like when the merchent in Mizuho says "Secret"). The words will be "Under developement", so this option does absolutely nothing.
The "cooking" option is simple as well. Use it to gain or get rid of recipes. As far as I know, the "raise recipe level" option doesn't work. I don't really know. o_o; But this works perfectly fine as well.
The "weapon test" option is probably confusing you by now, huh? Well, it makes the on-screen character carry their respective weapons that they use while in cutsenes. (Like the default Chakrams that Colette always seems to use) Note that this does NOT apply to NPC's. (So Yuan will not carry his large swallow weapon.) As far as I know, NPC's use the default swords that Lloyd uses. But I'll list what each PC has. (Note that when you change characters, the weapons will still be in effect, and they can come out some pretty weird spots. Like when changing from Lloyd to Colette, one sword will be sticking out of her shoulder.)
Lloyd - Default swords in both hands.
Colette - Default Chakrams in both hands.
Genis - Default Kendama in his right hand. (Amusing while using Sorcerer's Ring)
Raine - Default rod in right hand. (Looks funny while running)
Sheena - Four different pastel colored cards in right hand, one white card in left hand.
Zelos - Default dagger in right hand, wooden shield on left. (When changing to Presea, his dagger stays in place for some reason.)
Presea - Default axe in right hand.
Regal - Default Greaves on both feet. (The brown straps show up. Only difference from normal form.)
Kratos - Default longsword in right hand, wooden shield (awkwardly) on right.
Noishe - Please just don't try Noishe. >_<
Small note on Noishe is that when I tried his weapon test, there was a small change I couldn't notice, so when I went back to do a quick change so I could look closer, the game locked up before he changed. It scared me :( Then when I restarted the game, my cat woke up and meowed EVER SO LOUDLY, startling me again. And then mum yells once I get settled and scares me again. :( I'm not happy.
---
Western Katz
Everything about the Katz is a lockup. DO NOT TALK TO IT. I have no idea what this Katz was supposed to be for, but I'm open for suggestions :/
---
Northern Katz
Menu contents:
Character
Eyes
Mouth
EN
Bones
Bones 2
Skin
Option
Motion
In-between frame setting
Loop setting
Change it back
Most of these are simple as well. I'll give a brief explanation of the "character" option, but I advise you not to mess with it until you get to the list.
The "character" option pans out into four sections. "PC", "NPC", "Filthy Dogs" and "Registered Characters". The "PC" section is for characters you get to run around as in the game. (EX: Genis, Kratos, Zelos..) This actually includes Noishe. (I suppose he counts as well, since he's on the over-world.) More info on these during the lists.
The "eyes" option lets you set the eye type the character has. This can go from closed, happy, angry, to looking left. These haven't locked the game up for me so far, so feel free to try them out. As far as I know, the "Reserved" ones do close to nothing except for Zelos, where the first two make him wink. (As seen in my "Zelos Zig" video) There's also the strange case of the fourth one making Zelos' eyes disappear. I have no idea what causes this, but it's completely safe.
NOTE: Opening for someone to map out all the NPC's and PC's expressions that work, including the reserved ones. I simply don't have time at the moment.
The "mouth" option is the same as the "eyes" option. I haven't encountered any lockups, and I have no idea what the "?" option is yet.
NOTE: Also open for someone to map these out.
The "EN" option is for the Emotion Bubbles that appear over the character's (whoa, my cat just yawned and looked really scary..) heads. This goes for everything except the "anime vein" that was encountered only once as far as I know. The only one that doesn't do anything as far as I see is the option shaped like a star. I'm thinking this was supposed to be for that vein, but I don't see it.
The "bones" option is complicated. You have to have a general understanding of the bone structures that the game uses and of course simple mathematical skills. (Very simple, since even I can figure it out.) The only thing I can really explain is the first thing it asks you when you choose a bone to edit. The "work" it asks about is the number that the bone is going to be set to. This means two bone edits can't use the same "work" number, or else one will revert back to it's normal state. There are "work" numbers 0-7, which limits the editing quite a bit. It should still get the job done for whatever you want to make them do. The only time these have locked up for me is when I've tried to overdo how much I bend the bones, where it'll go out of the bounds that were made, and the game will freeze. The rest, I can't really explain. Mess around with it until you get the hang of it.
The "bones 2" option is what controls the placement of the character model. For instance, if I choose a combination of 0-00-0100-0000-0000, the character will be put face-first to the ground. As far as I've tested, this doesn't move the character left or right, but rather it turns the model in different directions. The only use I've found for this is for the stand-still models. (Explained later) The only time this has locked up on me is when I've tried using the "Designate bone" part, so I'd suggest leaving it at "00". Go ahead and mess with it if you want, though.
The "skin" option does nothing, as far as I know. I've tried it on a few characters, and nothing has happened. No lockups, either. I'm free for suggestions or discoveries.
The "option" option.. I have no idea what it does. I haven't investigated it quite yet. Open for volunteers.
The "Motion" option is where you can see the different motions a character can make, such as the "talking" motion that they use when the character is speaking, or their "surprised" motion where they usually back up. I don't know what the "special" options do, but I know one of them did something for Lloyd at one point. I forget what, and I'm a bit in a hurry at the moment, so I can't check. But as far as I know, this doesn't cause any lockups.
The "in-between frame setting" option.. I again have no clue. Haven't checked thoroughly, and again open for volunteers.
The "loop setting" option is for the "motion" option. If you set it to loop, then the motion will be played continuously. (How the "Gonna **** you up" dances came into the world) Set it to play only once, and it'll do just that.
The "change it back" setting works for eyes, mouth and bones, where it'll set those back to normal. Nifty, huh?
Now, onto the "Character" option...
---
The PC section is completely stable, and all characters on it work. Nothing more to say about it. The NPC section is a bit iffy, and by far the largest section there is. (Going from 0 to 500 characters) Here is the incomplete list of the NPC's beow this paragraph. But before you start looking through, I'll remind you that they are not completely finished, meaning the NPC's exactly are not named the correct way, and some slots aren't mapped. You can do this yourself by reporting what you find. I'm also accepting NPC namers, who will track down all the NPC's to where they're from.

The "Filthy Dogs" section is a mystery to me. Why would they call them that and why would the first three be a lockup? I really don't know, but the name really bugs me. Open to suggestions. But anyway, these are for the dunegon/town monsters that you see. (Like the skulls, worms and lions that represent monsters)
Filthy Dogs
00 - LOCKUP
01 - LOCKUP
02 - LOCKUP
03 - Worm
04 - Lion
05 - Skull
06 - Golem
07 - Worm
08 - Worm
09 - Worm
10 - Hawk
11 - Worm
12 - Worm
13 - Worm
14 - Worm
---
The "Registered character" section confuses me as well. It has the weapons that the NPC section had, as well as two extras. o_o; I'm confused.
Registered character
00 - Wooden Sword
01 - Chakram
02 - Kendama
03 - Rod
04 - Razor Blade?
05 - Cards
06 - Dagger
07 - Wooden Sheild
08 - Axe
09 - Greave
10 - Greave
11 - Corrine
12 - Kilia
That wraps up the "Character" section.
---
Now, onto the blue Katz. They're simple enough. They're the "stand-still" models I talked about. You talk to them, and get the same menu that the Northern Katz gave. The blue Katz will change instead of the active character. Be careful, though. These things are kind of unstable, so you may have to work with 'em a little bit.. And also, do not use more than two at a time. It more often than not causes a lockup. But go ahead and try if you want.
-----
That about covers it. Just know that this is NOT harmful to your game in the least. Remember that the only way memory gets corrupted (In most games) is if you interrupt the saving process. So your game data is completely safe while doing all of this, unless you enable the "Save Anywhere" code and decide to save inside the field, then turn the game off or pull the memory card out while saving. But it doesn't take a genius (Haha.. Genius.. Genis..) to figure this out.
So go have fun :)
-----
Also, there's the Sound Test code that switches the "Customize" option on the title screen to the "Sound Test" that was originally only on the Japanese version. It's fully operational, other than a few blank battle voice files, that were actual files anyway. (The Battle Voice folder had a few blank files in them. I checked when I downloaded the ripped files.) Anyway, here's the code.
W3HR-1A7X-5QU90
CZN1-KAJD-5GPXZ
XB6T-UA6G-18ZEH
G0XN-MQ9H-EDPM7
JBMZ-Y73T-DAQRN
Open for anyone to map out what sound files are what. @_@
-----
So, go nuts and have fun. *flops down* Kya's gonna sleep now...
Edit: A few were changed to their correct names. Thank you, Meowzy. :) Also, I forgot to add this, but remember I did NOT make either of these codes.
Edit2: Added in the "This is not harmful.." thing. _________________

44 is Linar.
46 is Sophia.
70 could be Puninja.
119 is kinda confusing. I think you might mean Aifread.
(257 sounds AWESOME)
The tails of Kratos' cloak are NOT white in the Japanese version. Only when sitting on a rheaird is Kratos' cloak white. (by accident)
329 is Aifread.
330 is probably from Heimdall.
355 is a Bush baby.
Could you please get me a picture of number 312, the hotsprings guy? It'd be really helpful for the Idiot Seraphim RP.
Our Ernie needs decent icons. XD _________________ "TEACH ME ABOUT BAZONGAS!!!"

AWESOME.
In exchange I'll help you work on this a bit. Let's alsot try to keep this bit of info AWAY from Gamefaqs. Next thing you know they'll want to say we stole the idea from someone when these codes aren't in the AR FAQ there XD _________________ The Stuff of Legends XD

Thank you, Meowzy~ I hadn't had the time to go through the whole list to rewrite the ones I did remember. (Although I bet the only one I'd recognize would be Linar. I suck that way. But I know I meant to switch the Orochi thing after the last visit the the tower..)
The Pirate Man isn't Aifread, that's for sure. He's just.. a pirate. o_o; And his right arm is out a bit like a parrot is supposed to be there.
I wouldn't dream of giving this the gamefaqs anyway, since I didn't make the code to begin with. But knowing them, they WOULD do that. XD
Pictures of the hotspring man:

Phew, the soda can didn't make it into the picture >.> *koff* I mean.. I didn't say anything..
And don't worry about how complicated it is. It's actually really simple once you mess with it a bit. _________________

I've already started screwing around with some stuff. After work today I plan to go back and make a list of sorts.
Also the Sound Test looks like it really should've been there, which surprised me when I saw it. I also foundo ut the HARD way which Katz was the one I'm not supposed to talk to XD _________________ The Stuff of Legends XD
