Well, they are a key part in the plot, so they should appear. The party may take down more than one of them at a time, though, to cram the entire story into as few episodes as possible...

I doubt it. The hot springs scenes from Tales of Phantasia didn't make it into the anime, and in my opinion, they were more interesting than the one in Tales of Symphonia...

But i'd like to see them tie in all three paths like
Colettes Flanoir Scene
Zelos death scene T.T but then a suprising shock and he comes back to life.. MUHAHAHAHAHAA
And Kratos rejoining the party.
i hope they use Colloyd instead of Shelloyd >_> And i'd like to see Sheena smack Zelos or loose it on him XD

That would be awesome beyond awesome. *_* EDIT: The hot springs scene, I mean, although it's unlikely.
And the TOP anime was good and all (ChesterxArche FTW!) but it was confusing -- it started with Cless, Mint, Chester and Morrison in the Catacombs and Morrison sends Cless and Mint on their time-travely way and SUDDENLY THEY'RE ON THE VALHALLA SNOWFIELDWTF. o.O;;
I can't even imagine how they'd squeeze TOS all into four episodes...

I'm hoping for at least 12 episodes. Hopefully more, considering the size of the story.

Only 4 Episodes im guessing its going to be like this then
Episode 1) Opening Scene - Colette Getting Her Wings/Praying Remiel.. then the theme song.. Palmacosta perhaps? Battling Magnius then to luin and the place with Sylph.. Talking to The Dragon Dude?
Episode 2) Meeting Sheena.. - Off to Tower of Salvation Battle Remiel, Battle Kratos Battle YGGY/ Meeting Yggy. Renegades save the day.. They steal the rheiards and off to tethealla
Episode 3) They Meet the Great Chosen Zelos, Meet Presea, Meet Regal, Volts Temple? Lloyd finds the Truth about Kratos. Flanoir Scene.. Zelos betrays them/dies Lloyd Faces off Kratos, Finish off with Releasing Origin..
Episode 4) Lloyd getting Material Blade/Eternal Sword then they go to Derris Kharlan.. then the Battle with Mithos..
Thats my guess what the episodes might be like if there is 4 episodes..

Man, this is, like, a dream come true. As for the episodes, I'm happy as long as I see Martel, Yuan and Mithos in them. And Yggdrasill. Desian Grand Cardinals in anime...hmmm

Wow this is certainly surprising, honestly I didn't expect them to go out and actually make an OVA based on Symphonia.
I hope with this we get a few answers to some of the loose ends in Symphonia,
*Spoilers*
A clearer understanding on Martel's death, Anna finally being shown, and just where was Yuan during the final portion of the game?
Though if they're going to animate the entire game here's hoping it's any where from 6-12 episodes long, it's just not possible to cram in everything of the game's plot in about 3 or 4 episodes.
But that brings up an interesting question how will the plot be changed, surely the Zelos fans are going to be angry if he is axed off. So my idea (as well as others' as I can see) is to have Zelos betray yet still live and have Kratos reunite with the group at some point in time.
It's the only way to satisfy both the Kratos and the Zelos fans, also it's an anime so there shouldn't be any reason to have a "specific number of party members" rule in play.

Personally I love Lloyd/Sheena a hell of a lot more than Lloyd/Colette but I would prefer they not make either one "canon" as far the anime goes. It's better this way because again just like with the Kratos and Zelos situation you don't anger either side. Let Lloyd stay single so he stays close with both Sheena and Colette (but doesn't choose between them) or show an "implied" ending where he says he's leaving with one of them but the camera never shows who it is so it's up to the viewer to decide which one it was.
As for Flanoir simple, have Lloyd speak with Kratos (using this would set up Kratos' eventual return). Heimdall would be harder to do, as far as who Lloyd speaks to, unless there is no Heimdall scene (like in the Kratos ending) or it's modified where Lloyd speaks with everyone (as in a group meeting).
Anyway that's just my idea and personally I can't wait to see Lloyd vs. Kratos in anime form, though I would like for them to also have Lloyd and Mithos battle one on one if time allowed it.

I have a feeling this animation will feature ColettexLloyd, like the ToP animation seemed to indicate a lot of CressxMint.
As for Anna, I doubt she'll make an appearance. Maybe a shadowed face in Kratos' locket.
And yes, they should show Yuan in the end, and finally solve that mystery.

| Jeez. I'm not too interested in this, but as a Tales fan I am obliged to give it a chance. Especially if they get the original English cast for the game back to voice the dub if there will be one. |
