Would it be possible if you guys could host a contest for the new banner like you did with the ToS only banners? It would be really cool, and would give the gfx community here something to strive for. The sig/ava boards are really flourishing and it would be awesome for them to be able to try to create something for the forums. It would also give Tara many options to pick the most aesthetically pleasing banner, and would take a task away from her already busy life which might help her out as well. -nod-
So what do you think?

Well, I was under the impression that we were going to have a contest for a banner for Tales of Legendia, but that ended up never happening. Maybe we'll have one for Tales of the Abyss, but I don't think anyone knows for certain just yet...

Hopefully we don't end up with something that has 50 different effects so the artist thinks it's good but it looks like crap.
AKA most of the recent things.

Well...How about instead of saying "like", somebody makes the topic and "do"?
I'm sure the nice forum staff we have here would be very happy to switch the top banner with the winner.
But perhaps we're waiting for something more official? |

There's no point in making a contest to have a banner put up until we get approval. Chances are there wouldn't be any objection, but until we get some official word on the matter, there's nothing that can be done. I suppose you're welcome to host a contest, but as things stand now, the banner wouldn't be put up...
