Was Star Ocean 3 dual layered?
If it is maybe thats why some my friends have trouble playing it?

Star Ocean 3 is dual layer
I know because I have trouble playing it. I have to barrow my friends PS2 when I want to play it, the 1st disc doesn't read too well. 
I have no problem playing the 2nd disc for some reason. |

ToA is doing like 4.3GB wich is the max space of a single-layered DVD-ROM. I know Xesonasaga EP1 is dual lawyered and God of War too
