Karyl comes from an old aristocratic family, but has distanced himself from his clan. He wanders the world playing his songs to anyone who's willing to listen. He appears to be flaky and mercurial in his ways…or at least seems to be most of the time. Is he just a playboy out to have fun or does he have some kind of hidden agenda? Is his clowning around just an act? It's really hard to tell.
